  2. Welcome here Richo, Make yourself a calendar and stick to it. An appointment for yourself. You can do it. You will become addicted to it. It goes by fast when you turn up your music. We are all here to help motivate you. Keep it up!
  3. Definitely strength training. Body shape. Total body shaping. Hike, bike, swim, I will have one down day a week. A small workout int he am and then I make sure I rest my body. You really want to surprise your body all the time and not get complacent and it gets used to the same thing. Then we plateau. Good luck.
  4. Yep, Azatol and I are huge Paleo Fans. It's not a diet but a Lifestyle change. I have a website called Cavegirlcancook.com, and on Facebook. Just some recipes here and there for Paleo. There are great books out there too. Do not eat fake food. I give myself a few times a week for bread, etc.. But in smal, quantities. You can do it. Ask any questions. Good luck.
  5. Hey Tasha, You sound like you are doing great. Try to do Day 3 one more time this week. Move in, and if you can't do it, just repeat the week again, but to me, it sounds like you are doing great. I'm up to running 25 minutes Now and I'm repeating week 8 again. I am my own motivator. I'm super proud of you. Move in when you feel like it. It's all up to you and we are your motivators. Hugs.
  6. Yes. Oh my gosh Azatol. It is so worth it. I am in love. It tracks my sleep, stairs, miles, etc,... Holy moly. Makes me move. It rained all day yesterday, and in my house, I got 6000 steps in, 2.2 miles, 7 flights of steps, etc. you can also select when you exercise, run too. I can't live without it now. Says the battery stays charged for 7 days. I just charge when I'm at my desk when im not moving. I tell you, it's pricey, but so worth it. Just sell something on eBay. Ha.
  7. Hi Spage, Well, look at you. I am Impressed. It sure does get you motivated doenst it?? Whn you don't feel like going, but you do anyways because you want to post. The app calls my name. Lol. For me, I love to workout in the am, it's too cold out now, so I wait until around 11 and go before lunch. Then I can do my websites, blog, Moderate here, but I do it. I am so proud of you and you are doing it. Congrats to you. Keep it up!!!

  10. HEYYYYY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, Nancerz and welcome on the Forums... This program is not too ambitious for you at all how bad do you want it? Bad , Right? Like Azatol says, it is not easy, you have to fight for it and YOU CAN DO IT! Al of us are here. Do not worry if you cant run out of the gate, walk, then get faster little by little, cant run for a minute?, now worries at all, You are lapping anyone sitting there. Like today, it is raining out, so I am just finished jogging around my house, poof, 1000 steps in, and I am not done yet. I will do pushups, squats, jacks, jog, all in my house.   11. Hi Sarah, ME too when it comes to logging in calories. Some days I do, some i do not..... Make sure you rest too, by the way. I like to run for 3 -4 days, but not back to back. I train other ways on those days. Crosstrain, weights, etc....... You are doing great.

  13. I am Absolutely in love with the SURGE, I am such a Gadget Girl. So far so Good Azatol. Lighting is perfect. I am now going to sell my Gear Live Watch and Pebble. There is nothing like a Fitbit. I am thrilled. Love watching my steps today, and flights of stairs. I am getting ready to run so ai m excited to see how it logs it. It is worth it. I have had may fitbits and have lost them.... Not this one. If any of you belong on fit\bit, add me. I do have a group called Northern Nevada!
  14. Hi there. You do. Need the PRO version of the c25k. Go to the MFP app, under apps and devices, you should see sync to the 5k app. Sync there and it should now work. Let me me know.
  15. Hi there. Anyone here with a Fitbit??? I just got the new FItbit Surge and just synced it tonight. I cannot wait to see how it is. I've had many Fitbits and this one is great. So excited. Now with my running and walking, I want to see my steps. Yay!!!!

To me Paleo Is a lifestyle change for the rest of my life, with some carbs thrown in here and there of course. I absolutely refuse to diet. But it's all in moderation. If I want pizza, I eat it, then perfect the next day. Ya gotta live.
