  1. Hey Vicki, I do the same things some days. And some days I just die. Lol. You do what makes you feel good and listen to your body, rest when needed and work hard on the other days. You are doing great. Keep it up and keep us posted. Good luck to you.

  4. Hi Mea, welcome here. Sounds like your family is doing awesome in TaeKowon do. That's a great workout. You said you ah e gotten fitter which is great and haven't lost any weight. Changing your diet and doing this app will be great for that. But you make those changes when you are ready. I am so excited for your progress here. This is great community and everyone helps each other. You have plenty of time before your 5k and it will npbe here before you know it. Keep us posted here. Good luck to you.

  6. Hey Ashley. So this afternoons Dr OZ show was all about how many calories to eat and so on. If you can get it to watch it, do. It was very interesting on stalled weight loss. Very informative. Hope you see it.

  10. Hi There, I try not to take a day off and just REST between those days, do other workouts, like strength training, speed training, body shaping, crossfit, swim, bike, hike, etc.... Keep that body moving...REST when your body says I am tired. I love to have 1 complete down day. I run 3-4 days a week, usually Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, only because I have a step/peak training class on Monday & Wednesday nights. If I run in the AM, class is really tough. You are doing great. proud of you. Keep it up!!
  11. I feel ya Ashley, it is so hard to add all of those calories in there. Seems like when I do that too, I am under 1200 calories a day myself. On my www.cavegirlcancook.com site , I have some calculators under the Fitness tab you can check out. Keep your carbs on the healthy side, like TrishE said, brown rice, Quinoa, fruits. I would stay away from sugar and flour products. Let me know how you do!

  13. Hi Ebsmith, If you are can afford the Surge, I'd definitely get it. You can always sell the flex. I've sold a few on eBay and local garage sale pages. I can't live without it now. Lol. But it's a good thing as yesterday I was 8700 steps and I made myself move until I got to 10100 steps. By the time I went to bed, I was over 11000 for the day. This one also tracks your exercise and runs by GPS too. Then when you login to the app, it shows where you ran on the app. It is the best hung I have ever ever bought. Lol. I am hooked. Let's see how many steps today. I'm curious abou the sleep though. I swear I sleot form 11:30-6 am , with only a few potty breaks and it said I only slept 3:30. Hmmm. Very interesting. Anyways.   14. Way to go Vicki. If you are sore, stretch and stretch more, but only stretch when your muscles are wamrm ex up, never strength cold muscles. You did it. Good luck to you. See you here.
  15. Welcome here Richo, Make yourself a calendar and stick to it. An appointment for yourself. You can do it. You will become addicted to it. It goes by fast when you turn up your music. We are all here to help motivate you. Keep it up!
  16. Definitely strength training. Body shape. Total body shaping. Hike, bike, swim, I will have one down day a week. A small workout int he am and then I make sure I rest my body. You really want to surprise your body all the time and not get complacent and it gets used to the same thing. Then we plateau. Good luck.
  17. Yep, Azatol and I are huge Paleo Fans. It's not a diet but a Lifestyle change. I have a website called Cavegirlcancook.com, and on Facebook. Just some recipes here and there for Paleo. There are great books out there too. Do not eat fake food. I give myself a few times a week for bread, etc.. But in smal, quantities. You can do it. Ask any questions. Good luck.
  18. Hey Tasha, You sound like you are doing great. Try to do Day 3 one more time this week. Move in, and if you can't do it, just repeat the week again, but to me, it sounds like you are doing great. I'm up to running 25 minutes Now and I'm repeating week 8 again. I am my own motivator. I'm super proud of you. Move in when you feel like it. It's all up to you and we are your motivators. Hugs.
  19. Yes. Oh my gosh Azatol. It is so worth it. I am in love. It tracks my sleep, stairs, miles, etc,... Holy moly. Makes me move. It rained all day yesterday, and in my house, I got 6000 steps in, 2.2 miles, 7 flights of steps, etc. you can also select when you exercise, run too. I can't live without it now. Says the battery stays charged for 7 days. I just charge when I'm at my desk when im not moving. I tell you, it's pricey, but so worth it. Just sell something on eBay. Ha.
  20. Hi Spage, Well, look at you. I am Impressed. It sure does get you motivated doenst it?? Whn you don't feel like going, but you do anyways because you want to post. The app calls my name. Lol. For me, I love to workout in the am, it's too cold out now, so I wait until around 11 and go before lunch. Then I can do my websites, blog, Moderate here, but I do it. I am so proud of you and you are doing it. Congrats to you. Keep it up!!!
