  1. We are having an unseasonably warm winter. 60 today too. Not like where I live at all. Can't wait to start Week 8, Day 1 of the 10k app tomorrow. My hubby noticed my hourglass shape coming back. Ha ha. Love it.

  4. Hey Hey, Look at you go, you are doing great. I have done that too, kept running when it told me to cool down. Now that's enthusiasm. I wish my pace would be fast, I used to do a 9 minute mile, now I do a 13 one. Sheesh. Oh well, i am moving. COngrats to you, you are doing it!!!1
  5. Azatol said something the other day that really helped me yesterday, WAS 'PUT THE PHONE DOWN' , do not look at it... So , I was on Week 7 Day 2 of the 10k app, , and it is now running for 25 minutes. so I really wanted to see how much time I had left, bu I put the phone in my pocket. Great tip Azatol.. AND I DID IT!!

  10. Hi There SUHN and Welcome on here, Most of us crosstrain on the other days. I love to lift weights, bodyshape, Yoga, Pilates, hike, anything to give my body the strength. I also love to give my week 4 days of running, that is me though. I just repeat the last days running. Up to you, you know your body. Good luck to you and keep us posted!
  11. Yes Nothingtodo, so true, I cannot do carbs that early unless it is toast or fruit, so whatever that person can eat is great. Everyone is so different, whereas, carbs, makes me ill, but for someone else, carbs are their favorite. Definitely cannot run on an emty stomach! Thanks to you, Hugs!
  12. Woohoo Kez, Week 6? Amazing, Keep it up ! I live in the mountains here, and uphill, downhill, its tough, but when I get to someplace flat when I travel, man, can I run that course, I love it! What I love to do when I have to run up a hill, is to do it backwards, work those calves and Quads harder. I also do sidesteps up the hill, just to break it up! SOOOOO proud of you! HUGS!

  15. Hi All, Do you all have the Pro C25k ? That might be it! It should already be connected if it goes to the app store. When you finish your run for the day, make sure FB is selected and then hit save. Let me know if this helps... Thanks

    Hi Kristen, If you are using the C25k app, at the end of oyur workout hit save and it should save it to MFP. I also use the MapMyFitness app running in the background so I can see how far I have gone. Especially when some days I feel like running further to get to a certain mileage. Some days I am just full of energy, lol..

  18. Hi there Welcome here. So proud if you for beginning. You can do it. I love how the app tells me when to run because otherwise I wouldn't do it. Love love it. Like Beachgirls says, addicting. Keep it up and keep us posted. Hugs.

  20. Hey H4Me, I love to run the last day twice, and usually do that weekly. If you want to start again, go ahead, but you can also move up to the 10k app if you want. I am on Week 7 and I am running for 25 minutes now, when I can, sometimes I cant. Keep us posted on your progress . So proud of you.. Strength train too. You got this.!
