Hey Steve, I would definitely get that checked out. Make sure you do stretches after your workout so see if you can elongate that hip flexor... I would see a Doc if it bugs you. Good Luck! -
Hi Jackie, I rest when my body says to rest. I like to run every other day, soem run everyday. I believe our bodies get to used to doing the same thing and we get into a slump, shake it up and change it up! Ha, I like that one!!!! Good Luck!

Hi There Carut, Give it a try, you have already come so far and you are already doing other workouts. You will be surprised what you can do. Sometimes our minds give out before our bodies do... Put on some great music and go!!!!

Hi Brittany and Welcome here. I am happy you are wanting to be in great health. Start now before it gets too cold out and when winter sets in, Invest in a Gym like Steve said or a treadmill at home. There are also great workout apps and videos out there too. Zenlabs has some great spot training apps you can download too. What I love to do all day, is use my body as my own weights. Lunge down the hallway, squats while on the phone, pushups on the counter, etc.. There is so much you can do all day in little spurts of energy. I LOVE IT, Good luck to you. You can do it!

Hi, I absolutely love the CAMELBAK, Only ones we use. We have a sports store that has them for under $30. Have you looked on Amazon too?? Let me know what you find.

Great Job MommaB! AS of your 22 minutes, you are training for a 5k, you are not doing a 5k everytime you rain for that day. Yes, move forward, time will increase and so will your endurance. Proud of you! You are doing fantastic!

That is a toughie Devoted. You want him to go with you and I would give anything for mine to even walk with me. But if it was me, I would be thrilled to even have my hubby involved at ell, but thats me. Maybe start over with him, but do extra running for yourself?? Maybe that would work?? Good Luck!
