  7. Hey Ruthie, You can see by using the calculators how much you should be taking in! I used to eat 1200 calories a day and was way too hungry. So I upped it to 1400 a day and I lost weight faster! Every body is different!

  11. I calculate by 1/2 my bodyweight in ounces in water. So you are 130lbs Anne, then 65oz a day in water.
  12. Absolutely Ruthie. I had a fitbit and now a watch that calcules my fitness. I check my steps all day. Amazing what I get in just doing chores around the house. Lots of steps. If i am at my desk a lot, i just get up and walk around fhe house every hour. :-))) on top of my morning run.
  13. Great post and im curious to see what everyone thinks. Me, myself, I cannot do a liquid detox, it is not for me. But others can. We just came back from vacation. So of course we indulge. So now for me detox means, no alcohol, healthy fruits, veggies and meats. Thats my detox. What does everyone else like????
  14. Hey all. I do believe 1200 calories is way to low for anyone working out. As a Moderator here, there are fitness calculators out there that you can use to calculate what you should be taking in in calories. Everyones Caloric needs are different. To me 1200 calories is starving yourself. Lowest i will ever go is 1400 a day. I hate counting calories and mostly stick to A low carb/Paleo lifestlyle. Which in turn means. JUST EAT HEALTHY and CLEAN and the weight will fall off. Here are some calculators you can go by. i have been in this field for over 20 years. Diets suck.   15. Hi there, Everyone offered great advice. Ive been in this field for many years. Ive been prone to injury pushing myself. Popped muscles are annoying. Yikes. What a set back. I run M, W & F. Maybe one extra day if i feel awesome. Other days i weight train for strength and crosstrain, by hiking, walking, and usually take Sundays off. Saturdays for chores.   16. Hi there, I believe noone should ever ever think they cannot do something, if you want to do spin classes then do it. Try a beginners class????? Are you doing our C25k app???? You can start there too. Good luck to you and proud of you!!!! You can do anything!!!
