Nice Leo. I am now workout out on my own. While I love the friend I've been working out with, my time is not being respected and after 8 months of always waiting on her, she's never on time, doesn't show up, when she says 7 am, she then shows up at 7:30. It is so hard for me to get ready at 7 am and when I do, I'm always waiting. Now , I've know her for 12 years here where I live. Never ever have we hung out Except at church. One day earlier this year she called me and asked if I'd workout with her cuz she knew that I always exercised. So I'm like sure. But after 8 months , I'm done. If you don't respect my time to train you and are always late or just don't show, I'm so over it. Am I wrong??? I don't think so. I had fun with her and we laughed but it's not a game to me. Either you show up or you don't ask someone to teach you where I normally make $! Training people. Ok rant over. I feel bad about telling her I'm done with her but I need to put my foot down. I do great by myself.

Hi there AOA and welcome on here. Great that you have the app and are beginning. First step is the biggest. You might want to invest in a treadmill or elliptical to get you through the wintertime. I'm going to do that same thing. It's cold here at 5000 feet. Lol. For shoes. Find a great shoe store that specializes in workout shoes. They will test you for the right fit. Also be able to tell you about shoe grips. Hey, let me know how you do. And good luck. -

Hi LBW, I'm sorry. That sucks. You should heal pretty fast. Make sure you warm up really good first. There are a lot of workouts you can do that don't involve jumping. Keep me posted.

Hi Mrs R2B, Welcome on here. Good for you for losing 20lbs., super proud of you. We are all on here cheering each other on. There are a few people on MyFitnessPal too , helping each be good... Definitely keep us posted and there is an Accountabilty Topic and we post our workouts there. Good luck and Keep Going, you can do it! woohoo!

Hi LBW, So , do you eat protein, like fish, chicken, turkey, etc..??? I am such a protein girl, but that is just me. I didn't go looking for Paleo or Atkins, etc./. it found me. Even as a kid, going to Birthday parties, I never ate cake or ice ceam, I wanted no sugar, I wanted salty foods. I love jerky, yumm.. Now I do go crazy for candy corn and caramel apple suckers, lol, but in low dosage. My hubby loves the 4 Hour Body Diet, we are sticking to that for awhile, it works. Meat, Veggies, Legumes and one huge cheat day a week. Love it. Oh Yeah Fatty Pants. I forgot I have one of those spiral slicers , I think I will use that at lunch with a zucchini.. Yummy... Thanks

I love spaghetti squash and zucchini. I make a pizza with zucchini or taco boat. Delish. My hubby and I are doing the 4 Hour body diet now. Lot like Paleo but I add beans too. I need those to sustain myself. Otherwise I starve. Love it nits a good one.

Hi Brandy, Congratulations on beginning. I am so proud of you. Amazing feeling huh? You can do it! Yes it takes a scale to say, HEY, it is time for me to get healthier. You got this Girl. Make those goals and go for it! I am on Fitbit under 'Is anyone here from Nevada?', I just login once in awhile. A lot have joined here with the apps, yay. I now have a Gear Live Watch and I love it, keeps great track of my steps all day. Anyways, Make wise food choices, sounds like you already are. Keep us posted on here. My family lives in Ware, Mass., Vermont, etc.. Ever heard of the Blodgett's?? Thats me.. Good Luck!!!!

Hi There PsPenny, I read your post and welcome on here. Everyone here is here to help you and cheer you on. You can dig yourself out of that hole and get out there with that App and run. Run like the wind. Yo can do it. You are doing it for those 4 beautiful kids that you have and for yourself. Little bit at a time. Let me know how to help you. There a lot of us on MyFitnessPal and help each other there. Come join us. There is a post under the Start Here topic that has our login names for MFP. Come join us and get out and run. Day 1 tomorrow. You can do it. Eat Healthy and Workout. I'm here for you. Hugs.

Hi Mosley and Lone Baby, Welcome to the Forums. You have done the first step and you are starting. WootWoot, now that is a great accomplishment. You are You and noone else is like you. RUN at your pace, noone elses. If you cannot run, walk fast, do not be hard on yourself at all... You can do it.. If you have to repeat a day or a week, then DO! I stalled myself on Vacation and was on Week 5 of the 10k app, but now i am repeating Week 4 to get back up to speed. I do not worry about it at all.. Get Great Shoes and get out there and go. You will become addicted and love it....... KEEP Me POSTED!!!! Good Luck!

Hi BigDave, Lol I figured that you didn't run with your iPad. Hee hee. Usually from what I figured out is that when it does that it means you are already synced with MFP I think??? When you save your workout, then it should be in MFP in a little bit. See if that helps. Let me know. Don't worry about asking too many questions, I love answering them. Good luck Dave.

Hello Dave, When you are done running it should pop up in the end to save and put it there. First go to MFP, select apps & devices, you should see your 5k app there. Click and sync. So, if you downloaded it to your iPad, are you going to run with your iPad????? Lol. I'm curious. Good luck !!! You can do it. I love these apps.
