Hi MaryK, I so hate that. Can you go get a massage? See a Chiroprator? I have a Bowen Therapist that I just love. Anything to work that nerve will help? Please seek a Dr's help.. When I do not move as is being sick, My sciatica kicks in and OMG, my left side from butt cheek to foot hurts like no other. Time for a walk and that helps. Hope you get it fixed so you can run again, Hugs

Oh NickiT, It looks like you already have a Login, go to the upper right hand corner on this page, see your name? Click on it and a dropbox comes down, then you can see your profile, edit there. Hope this helps, looking forward to your picture.

Hi Marissa, If you start out with the c25k app, I , myself think it is easy, but I am really active as it is. But if you are brand new , as it is why it is called Couch to a 5k, it might not be so easy, but it is definitely not that hard. It will train you to get stronger and stronger. You can do it. Do it with us. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi NickiT, What do you mean? Edit profile here on the forums or on the app? Let me know so I can help. Thanks.

Running with a German Shepherd!! Best motivation!!
KellyAnn replied to Kez's topic in Progress & Success Stories
Hi Kez, I loved running with my labs until they got too old. Now I have a really small dog that's lazy lol. They are great motivators for sure. Congrats to you. Keep us posted on here. -
Hi Jennifer. You are doing great. Welcome here. So, I don't know your treadmill but I'd run at 4.0 and above. Then slow down to a walk when it says. Increase as you fell like it. Try and push yourself. Congrats on losing weight. Super cool.
-
Hi Sher, Glad that worked for you. Just make sure you stretch after you are warmed up. Proud of you. Hugs.
-
Hi There Sher, Welcome on here. Great job for keep on moving!! As fro your upper thighs, are you warming up properly? Mine would be soooo sore like that when I would play softball and you would take off running fast. The only thing I can think of, is you are taking off to fast. Other than that, try stretching after you warm up and and after your workout. To get those thighs stronger and your legs, etc.,, is to wok those specifc areas doing weight training. Zenlabs also has a lunge app, pushup app, etc.... See if this helps, keep me posted. Good Luck!

Nooooo Jay. Don't quit. Ever. Every body is different and no one can run like the other. My aha moment was running in a marathon, I was in amazing shape, people bigger than me passing me by. The worst was when a 80 year old woman passed me and said , want some ibuprofen??? Geez. LMBO. But , I was running. Period. Good luck. Don't quit. -
Hi there R4L, you sooo can do this. We are here cheering you on. Go for it. Research what you can do for for you Hashimotos and what can be done, which I am sure you have done. Biggest thing is, get off of that danged couch and Move it, Move it. I'm so proud of you. Please keep me posted on here. Hugs get out there.
