  4. Hi Soculese, Fitbit is a good one, I kept losing mine , so I now have a Gear Live 2 watch that I love. There are sleep apps for it too, but it drives me nuts to have anything on me while I sleep. SOOO, I found an amazing app for my phone called SLEEPBOT and it works!! you run the app when you go to bed and it tracks how you sleep. You just place the phone next to you. Keep it plugged in so the battery stays charged. Don't ask me how it works, but it does. It shows a graph when you move around in bed. It is really cool and will save you hundreds of dollars. Try it out and let me know. Hope this helps. I LOVE LOVE the app.
  5. Oh RedRunner, I sooooo hate being sidelined with illness, injuries, etc... grrrrrrrr... Its annoying for sure. it will take you a few weeks after to get back up to speed, but it depends on if you have junk in your lungs too. Then it might take longer. I love love EmergenC, that is a miracle. Try that too. FEEL BETTER! HUGS!

  8. Hi Brad, You can email support and they can help you. When my screen locks , the app still prompts me. SO, I am not getting why yours is not. I just watched mine yesterday and my screen was locked the whole time.

  14. You Bet applerose, Great job on your run. Azatol, I am wanting to be like you, I have logged in MFP for years and when I delete it, I have withdrawals and install it again. I really need to stop counting calories as I eat healthy, mostly Paleo with a few carb days.
  15. Thats hilarious with the toilet paper wads. I am sure we all have stories to tell about our noses, potty issues, etc... I have used the inside of my exercise top to blow my nose, yuck right?? I live way in the country, noone sees me run or hike. One day, I had to really - YA KNOW - GO! TMI, but funny. I was close to home, but could not make it, nothing to wipe with but a rock, HA HA HA HA, I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER forgot my tissue in my pocket EVER EVER again, hee hee.... When I ran in Holland, Europeans do not care at all where they go with number 1, seriously, in a race, and the lines are too long at the potty, they will just go right next to it. Gotta pee while shopping?? just go in the bushes. I had to retrain my little boys when we got back to the States, they didnt understand at WalMart Parking lot, why they couldn't just use a bush. lol Anyways, funny stuff...

  17. Hi There, Cross Training to me is using any other form of exercise you want to do. I posted below some links that you can look at that will help you choose. http://www.runnersworld.com/tag/cross-training http://www.runnersworld.com/photos/16-cross-training-activities-to-try I run 3-4 days a week with the app. Other days I will use my Recumbent Bike, lift weights, hike, Lifting weights to gain strength is my favorite and it burns amazing calories. I am so sore today after getting back to my workouts on monday. Hope this helps. Keep me posted. Hugs

  19. Hi There Crash and Momo, Welcome to the Forums.. Best place to be. We started an Accountability Board too so you can start a Journal there. Love it.. Momo, If your calves are sore, do some stretching after you warm up. Mine are on fire today, so I am stretching every chance I get. Ouch! Do some speed interval training on the other days and lift weights, that will help. Good Luck!
