Hi Cassiecat, I'm sorry about your cancer. Hope you are doing ok. Hugs to you. Proud of you for starting this today. I am thinking about you and cheering you on. Keep us posted. Hi Sharon. Every treadmill is different so I'm not sure how fast yours is. Because on mine, I walk at 4.5 and run at 6 and that is fast. So on mine a 10.5 would be road runner, lol. Yikes. I'd fly off of the treadmill at that pace. If you feel like you are running at a good spend, then it's perfect for you. Proud of you. Keep us posted.

Hi Timb, Great advice. My husband swears by the heat escaping out of your head. Keep the head and your core warm. And you will be warm.

Hi Ali, First, welcome on here. You will do great. I found an article on it for some exercises. http://www.askdoctork.com/are-there-exercises-i-can-do-to-strengthen-my-weak-ankles-and-prevent-sprains-201306154977 See if this could help you. The fron of your shins sounds like shin splints. That is common with runners. Make sure you warm up properly and start running slow to begin with. There are also articles about that too. Hope this helps you. We all motivate each other on here. Post away and we are here for you. You can do it. Hugs.

Nice advice Caz and Azatol, I like to do cardio every other day. Your body needs to rest in between. I like to crosstrain with weights, bike, etc.... If you do the same thing everyday your body gets used to it and if you train by doing something different your body says, oh yeah, Thanks and you will lose more weight and build strength. Good luck. Keep us posted here.

Hi there Ekta, Welcome here and way to Good for starting. Yes of course you can do this on the treadmill. Just use the same app. Most people will do a 4 speed for walking and then increase the speed until you are at a running pace. Old luck to you and keep us posted. Hugs.

You betcha Kenzie. Keep us posted.

Well thanks Azatol, Yeah some of those books use way too many things I can't find in a store. I buy a lot from Amazon. But some of those ingredients like, Arrowroot flour is loaded with carbs too, ugh. I use a lot of the same meals over and over again. Steak and cauliflower, Taco salad, chicken and salad, etcc... Good luck to you.

Hey Kenzie, Welcome on here. We are happy to have you. Anytime you want to run is the best time for you. I like to get mine in in the morning. Or if it is too cold out, then before lunch. And however fast you want to run. I like to keep an even pace, then towards the end of run I will go faster. Your choice, don't hurt yourself by taking off too fast. Keep us posted on here. Good luck.

Hi Thiri, Congratulations to you. So proud of you. You Ashley. You ladies got this!!

Hi Sher, Not in this app but a lot of us use an app running in the background, like, Mapmyfitness, Mapymyrun, Runkeeper, etc.,,, or some other GPS app that tracks you. Hope this helps. Hugs.

Hey, sorry that is happening to you. Now I've never tried them but some people love those compression sleeve they put over their calves. Check with a running store about that. Let me know. Make sure you are really warmed up first. Keep me posted. You are doing great.

Ha ha, thanks I think I take that as a compliment. You are so funny. I really need to get more recipes up. It we can only eat so much. Lol. I love the cauliflower pizza recipe. Yum. Nut I do eat regular pizza most often. It's a treat. Cheat day. I post more on my Facebook cavegirlcancook. Much faster. https://www.facebook.com/CaveGirlCanCook?ref=bookmarks There are many more Paleo sites. Like Nom Nom Paleo, Primal Palate, etc. I have learned sooo much. Just like a Caveman, grunt grunt, lol. Meat, veggies and fruits. Anyways. Thanks for your nice post. My favorite cauliflower ever is place florets on cooking sheet, drizzle olive oil over the top, sprinkle salt and throw on whole garlic cloves. Roast in oven at 400 degrees for about 20-25 minutes, toss on grated Parmesan cheese (not the green bottle junk), roast for 5,minutes more. Absolutely my favorite and my favorite veggie as of the moment. Raw, roasted, mashed, Riced, you name it. Oh Delish. I think I eat about 4 cauliflowers a week, then spinach, and tomatoes, cucumbers. There are my main veggies. Can't wait for you try the pizza. Follow the recipe. It's a good one. Don't add extra salt as you cook your meats and veggies as the pepperoni will release salt. Well, I tell Ya, I've had great conversations on this form and this has to be my favorite. I love talking about food. How long have you been Paleo?? Good luck and keep me posted.

Hi Tina, Happy for you and Welcome on here. I don't drink a shake before I run, I drink one after. All that sloshing around too will slow you down. Have a light protein snack and have a shake later. Plus, you will burn more calories too... You can do it!
