  4. Ariel, Cheshire is so beautiful. We lived in Holland for years and went to England. Stayed in Yorkshire Dales. Love it. Such beautiful country. I would live there in a heartbeat.
  5. Awe. Thanks TrishE. I used to go everywhere by myself and run, i was always ok all alone. Then i started walking/running with friends. Spolied me for years going with someone. Now they have all moved away and I am alone again. Ugghhhhhhhh. I hate it now. Hate running alone. Lol. So. We own 20 acres and he bladed off the 7 acres for a talk. The other acres are all mountain. I don't get bored, i just turn up the music.
  6. Hi There Katty, Welcome here on our forums. Proud of you at your age to want to get in shape. You can do anything you set your mind to. There is so much obesity in the younger ages nowadays and I love the fact that you want to do something about it. Do you know, that when you start making changes in your life, that your friends and those around you will want to do the same? What an awesome role model you will be for health. We are so proud of you in taking this journey with us. These apps are great. So, because of your age, make sure you check with your parents and/or your Doctor to make sure it is ok for you to do this! My son started really running in the 9th grade and he lost 30lbs one summer. Noone recognized him when he went back to school. Its was awesome. He changed the way he ate and ran. You can do this. Make the change Katty. Change the world. Keep us posted here and i am so happy for you!

  8. Hi Dewdropmon, Wow. Now that to me would be scary. Was it your dog? These apps are great to start and I would also do strength training on the other days. Squats, Lunges, etc. strengthen your core too. The core helps your whole body. Let me know if you need any additional help. Good luck.
  9. Hi There Buzz, Welcome here. Take it slow and don't start out of the gate fast. You can always walk this program too. Just keep getting faster and stronger as you go. I have bulging discs in my back and jphave slowed down my running and walk super fast now. You can do it!!! Excited for you here. Let us kniw how you do! Good Luck!

  11. Hmmmm. After you workout, you save and share your workout?, then it should show on the 5k app. But i thinkis for the Pro version?
  12. Hi Mizz? No. No pocture yet. Should be fairly easy. After you upload it though, make sure you go to the bottom right and save changes. Page has to be saved in order for any changes to take afffect. I know I have uploaded pocture, gone out and realized I didn't save the pages. Hope this helps. Let me know. Welcome here.

  15. This is Awesome Ariel, You are doing great! My hubby made me 1/4 mile path around my house. I feel like a mouse running in circles, i go 4 times one way, and 4 times the the other, lol. WE have snakes on the main dirt road, so I just go around my house. Works for me. I love runningon dirt. Next week I get to run on the Beach in CA, yay. So,do you live in another country? As you speak of Villages. Keep up the Great Work!! You are doing amazingly!!

  17. Hi Stambason, When I downloaded the 10K app on my phone again the other day, as I got another phone, the app asked me if I had finished the 5k app?? If I did, then it asked if I wanted to start with a week it picked , or from the beginning? The 13.1 app should ask you that, if it does not, you can go ahead in the app to the Week you want to start at. Press on the days as completed to move forward to that day. Let me know if this helps??? You are doing awesome!

  20. Hi Shado and Welcome here! This is what I tell people and what I do. I usually run/walk 3-4 days a week. For the 4th day, I just run the 3rd day again. I try not to run back to back days, but if you love to run, just make sure you can rest too and not injure yourself. I love to shock my body by doing other workouts on the other days so it keeps my body guessing at every turn and therefore you can get in shape faster too.   22. Hi there Ironwife, I use another app running in the background. I use Nike myself, but there is Mapmyfitness, mapmyrun, runkeeper, etc.... It works great. Hope this helps!
