Jschaferhess
W10D2 is behind me! I'm on my way! Distance was 3.5 miles, so a bit short, but I'm still happy with my progress!!

torus_ot
Back in April I have failed W4D1 with 6.5mph and 3% incline. Since then I was continue to run three times per week and got much fitter. So I tried to run w4D1 today : Wednesday - revisiting Week 4 Walk - 0.35mi, 3.5mph, 3% W4D1 All walks are 3.8mph, 4% incline All runs are 6.5mph, 3% I have completed it but it was tougher than I thought. And I think I now know why - these short 'rest' walking intervals with 3.8mph and 4% incline are the reason! I will add more of these type of walking in my training. Thursday - rest day Walking - 3.8mph, 3.0%; Jogging - 5.8mph, 2% incline Light walking/jogging - 4.05 mi, 52min (about 50-50%% short intervals)
Jschaferhess
Finished W10D3 today and it was a struggle. I did more up hill than normal and I was just plum tired. Nervous about next week's progression.
Breezee
Started back at week 4 - going to get my speed up and try to stop the boredom of longer runs. Will do one long run a week I think.

Jschaferhess
W11D1 finished and it was one of my best runs! I felt great! I needed that because W10D3 was awful. I was tired and struggled last week so I was intimidated to begin this week.

Rita de Cassia
W3D2! It was easier to breathe than in W3D1, felt a bit stronger, but still very slow pace at the end. Anyway, happy! Ok, speed? Competing with the snails! Also, W2D1 of 200 Situps!
Jschaferhess
W11D3 done! 4.25 miles...makes me slow but steady. I took a new path and really enjoyed it. I made up my mind I was going to run to a specific intersection. Alas, she said "begin walking" before I made it there SO I KEPT RUNNING!! Right on! Rita de Cassia
W3D3 finished! I did W3d2 yesterday, and today it seemed more difficult to finish, My legs got heavy earlier. Is it normal? Or perhaps should I really skip a day between the training days?
Jschaferhess
Skipping a day between runs is key. It gives your body time to heal and rebuild. Pushing it just risks injury. Give it a try next week and see how it goes. Rita de Cassia
