  10. Hey Post! Congrats!!! I love that you accepted a challenge from your boys! One day/step at a time, trust your instinct in regards to training. I cannot wait to hear how you progress, and I bet it does bring back your inner athlete along with adding strength - in the broadest of senses - mentally, physically and emotionally! Cheers!!! Please keep us posted! I was curious what app you began with? Hi Auntyp, Right on! HUGE Congrats on beginning and quitting!!! Warmest of welcomes Cherise! WayHAY to go siSTAR! You began! I noticed you shared that you do not post on boards. I too am not a forum gal and was a bit hesitant to begin - this is my only forum. I barely keep my FB updated! LOL That said, I hope you return and share your progress. Even if you never post, I find reading is highly motivational. I have found others who are experiencing the same situation, have overcome and pressed on which encourage me to do the same. If you do post, you'll be encouraged and supported. I have a tendency to go it alone, these forums, in part, have been instrumental in my success thus far. Hope you find the same here as well! Cheers!!!
  11. Hi Lauren, congrats on beginning! Hope you keep us posted! Cheers!!!

  13. Hi HarleyMike! Warmest of welcomes! Congrats on your progress so far ... that's GREAT and kudos!!! You absolutely came to the right spot! Zenlabs forums are loaded with inspiration and personal stories/experience. Reading and encouraging and being read and encouraged = shots of mental/emotional life-affirming boosts that personally affect me in the broadest of senses. Hope they inspire you as well. Curious, (if I understand rhabdomyolysis correctly) were your kidneys adversely affected or did they catch it in time before too much damage was done? So happy to hear you are doing better and on the road to recovery. How is running helping you so far?
  14. Tnl69953, I promise you, as you stay with this, your fear that folks may be watching you, will wane. You will be less concerned with who is watching you or what others might be thinking, and instead enjoy the fact that you are experiencing, (your daughter will notice too) life-affirming change within and without - in the broadest of senses - physically, mentally and emotionally. About your knee, I'm experiencing issues with my knees as well. You know your body best. Trust your instincts. I love your pratical and determined declaration: "I won't finish first, but I plan to finish!" Right on!!! I cannot wait to hear more ... please keep us posted in regards to your knee and runs! With you from far away, yet so near in heart! Cheers!
