  1. LOL 'Like This' ... success!! Thank you ... again Admin! <3 Love this space/place! Folks make it easy to respond, encourage and support, as well as making it easy to receive the same in return. How cool is that! Cheers!! ps. the above post was 'liked' without restriction!!! YeeHaw! ... brought to you by the Zenlabs Admin! *wiggles happily*
  2. Congrats x 100! From dragging your feet to focusing on the positive ..... awesome-sauciness! Self-motivated success!!!
  3. LOL you ARE winning! Right on! Congrats Healthy!! Curious, would he feel comfortable joining you here?
  4. Right on Kelly! I love your juicy and delicious energy! It's so entirely contagious!!
  5. HukMup, definitely rewarding to get out there after a trying day, (I almost didn't!). The benefits equal my mental/emotional state replenished, restored, invigorated afterwards!! YES! In regards to being a mother, thank you for acknowledging the busyness of each mother/parent. I remember when I was a new mama (21 years ago).. .I told myself that I would never use my children as an excuse for me not caring for my body, and I have not. True and perhaps justified as they take a lot of time and focus, yet they don't keep me from working out, as there are so many different ways I can workout. I only I keep me from working out. <3 Oh Hukmup, I love the early mornings too ... everything so fresh, (scents and sounds) ... all awaking! Oddly, I have not run super early yet! I will though! Congrats on your early run!!! If I understood you correctly, you made me laugh in regards to folks are not looking at me, they are ONLY going to work. Here here! *hugs* LOL It feels good to free ourselves from our assumptions of what other's might be thinking! I'm practicing this as well! Azatol, you know ... I bet that's it. I didn't occur to me that I was responding to a challenging workout. I kept trying to figure out what I was stressed over. LOL derp! I am not even aware that I am tensing UNTIL the app says to walk and then I notice and unclench my hands, and work on relaxing my shoulders. It happens each time. Ok. Today I am more aware. Just need to be more purposeful about hangin' loose. My intentions are to relax later on today. Thanks!
  6. It took me a few moments of clicking various pages (all but the obvious one) to figure out how to contact Zenlabs yet I finally found it! Ha! "Shannon you nitwit! Click on HOME, select Contact." Derp! LOL I is slow, but when I figure 'er out ... I goes to town!

  8. My suggestion, RedMustRun, as time allows....join in on the fun here-simply trust your gut and respond only as your heart leads. There is no requirement to respond or even post, so I would encourage you NOT to worry about failing others here, AND as you have already noticed, if all you ever did was read, there is phenomenal; sincere support present daily, indeed reading gets me going and on the right track when I am having an off day, (it supports personal accountability). Again, as you have the time, (we are all busy in different ways) share your progress and read other's; encourage and be encouraged and sooner or later you will resonate/connect with another participant who has very similar goals and intentions - then message away! Lastly, tough love. At the end of the day the only person who will see if you have followed through is you. Tough love starts first with you, which means you compassionately and firmly remind yourself that your past abundant excuses and reasons not to run are yesterday's news. Today, you have an opportunity and choice to kick your own hiney into gear, and you'll reap the benefits of that choice and celebrate your success at the end of day! You will be and are your biggest cheerleader! I for one, would love to hear how you continue to encourage and motivate yourself on in spite of and because of the off days, and most certainly I am eager to dish out loads of HIGH FIVES! CHEERS! Looking forward to hearing about your progress - your on days and off days!!
  9. Right on AgentP! Keep telling yourself you can do it, or rather state firmly, "I AM doing this!" CHEERS!
  10. What a wonderful exemplar of health and vitality you are for your daughter!! I am so excited, curious and eager, RedMustRun, to hear your continued progress and experience ... please keeps us posted! Your success inspires our own! Cheers!! <3 ps. yes, please do check out Accountability 2015 Indeed!! I can do it alone; have done it alone, yet hearing other's personal experience and tips ...puts an extra zing in my step!
  11. So true Azatol! And today I woke up grateful and pleased that I followed through yesterday. *** Hey, I notice my hands tightly clench and my shoulders and neck have a tendency to stiffen up while running. Does anyone else experience that? I do not feel stressed, so I cannot figure out why I am doing that. ???
  12. LOL Yikes! I'd be the fastest girl in all Tri Cities! "Must run quickly before I am seen! I can do this!!"
  13. Ok! Will do, and thanks! LOL This evening I reached my quota again! I don't like everything, yet many leave such beautiful encouragement and nothing more need be said other than, "Yeah, I like this a lot!!" <Click!> or <BAM!> as Emeril Lagasse would say.
  14. So excited - for you, with you! Right on Sinx!!!
  15. Dmosby, warmest, warmest of welcomes! Oh I do hope you continue to keep us updated, as well as share your experience - a gift to all I look forward to hearing how you continue to progress. Grats on your past Marathon! And congrats on W5D2!!! Cheers!!!
  16. I love it, love it, love it! Have you been able to find an app you do enjoy? There are many, many out there. Edit: Oh whoopsie daisies! I haven't tried the 1/2 marathon. If it is anything like the C25k ... betcha I'll keep using, AND I am always open to testing out other apps.
  17. Oh Tee, I am so sorry to hear you suffer with fibromyalgia And equally impressed that you press on. How is exercising helping with the fibromyalgia? What differences, if any, are you noticing?
  18. Beautiful encouragement Trish. Truths I am also able to apply and practice. I loved, "...a healthy lifestyle is a marathon not a sprint." <3 Hang in there Nadara! Keep us posted please, and congrats on completing day 1! You got out there .... that is a success! If I might offer a couple more thoughts (quotes of others) that have supported me: "Progress not perfection." "It is what we do most the time that counts, not some of the time."
  19. Curious ... Is there a way to increase the 'Like This' quota?
