W8D3 now i start the 10k app

I just finish W8D3 too... I did 28min with 5.1mph (previous day was 4.9). To complete 3.1m have to add 10 more minutes.

Through the run I was slowly increasing incline from 0.5 to 2.

I will continue at least one more week with 30min run. I need to increase my pace and incline. I am not ready for 10k commitment yet.

Just finished my 6 the day of week 2.

Monday I will start week 3, for you veterans out there should I take tomorrow off? Week 3 looks really challenging with three minutes of running, especially since I'm caring 80 extra pounds of weight and I'm in my 50s.

Any advice is appreciated.

I do taking one day per week off (Sat. or Sun.). But I always try to keep my steps count around 12k every day, so I suggest walk and stretch.

Week 9, Day 1 for me was tough... I did complete 30 min ran and then added 11 more minutes to get to the 5k distance. The speed was 5.3mph, my planned increase 0.2 from previous run. I think I stick with this speed for the next run, i do not fill that I am ready for the 5.5 mph yet.
