Hi there Rachel, Good for you, do not be nervous at all. You got this. Easy peasy. So proud of you. There are some great apps put there for strength training. I usually do that on my no run days. I like Max Muscle for one. One day I train Arms and shoulders, one day butt and legs and abs. At least 2x a week for each one. I'm putting together a 12 week program. Look online too workouts. Let me know how I can help. Hugs.

hI There Ash, Welcome on here. What is TTC? Please do not stress yourself if you cannot run, by all means, get out here and walk the whole thing. You are moving and that is all that matters. Nutrition plays a big factor too, so watch what you eat too. A lot of us are on MyFitnessPal and we encourage each other there too. My name on there is kellybarr1. I track everyday usually. You can do it, so get out and go. We are all here helping each other. HUGS!

Hi MaryK, I so hate that. Can you go get a massage? See a Chiroprator? I have a Bowen Therapist that I just love. Anything to work that nerve will help? Please seek a Dr's help.. When I do not move as is being sick, My sciatica kicks in and OMG, my left side from butt cheek to foot hurts like no other. Time for a walk and that helps. Hope you get it fixed so you can run again, Hugs

Hi Sara, Oh no, the flu, uggh, you poor girl. I am so sorry you got sick and sidelined. I so hate it when you work out hard for weeks and are so motivated and get sidelined. Try going back to Week 4, and see how you do, if you can handle it , move uo to week5. Don't be upset if you can't, that dang flu wreaked havoc on your lungs and breathing might be tough. Just start somewhere and see how you do. Hope you are feeling way better now. Good luck

Hi Marissa, If you start out with the c25k app, I , myself think it is easy, but I am really active as it is. But if you are brand new , as it is why it is called Couch to a 5k, it might not be so easy, but it is definitely not that hard. It will train you to get stronger and stronger. You can do it. Do it with us. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi Kez, No way is that too much. Good for you for doing extra. I do the same thing if I'm feeling good. It's fun to run with a dog too. They never whine. Lol. You are doing great. Keep it up.

Hi Darian, First. Welcome here. And second, thank you for joining. We appreciate you very much. Yay for running. You did great. Day by day you will get stronger. Keep at it and you can do it. Also do some breathing exercises through your diaphragm deeply. I do 3 x a day. Most of us do not breathe deep at all and so our lungs never fill to capacity. Try it. Good luck in your training. Do some strength training too.

Hey Lexy, You can do it. Good luck to you. Kiss that baby! -
Hey There, To me that would be scary, my gosh. Just like CAZ said (thanks Caz), only you know your body. The Dr., said it is ok to run? Wow, but he does know what is best. Just sit down and talk to him about your plan and see what he says. I have heard of this before. I would be apprehensive like you are. Keep me posted. HUgs

Hey Steph, a hoot and a holler to you. That's awesome that you finished. Now, I started with the 10k app as I am a fitness trainer. But from what I have seen on the forums here, is some start at week 9 on the the 10k app. But if I were you start at Day 1, and see how you do. Since you can now run a 5k , Woot woot, maybe look at the agenda on the days and see about jumping a few weeks, but not many. Hey, let me know what you do. Congrats. V
