  1. Finished the month at 130km. Ran 16 km today; my lower back limited the length of the run
  2. You'll get there. It takes time and setting some goals
  3. Ran 111 km for the month; avg 32 km per week.
  4. Welcome. It sounds like you are off to a good start. Keep going at your pace & you'll find yourself in a really good place a few months from now. I've dropped 30 lbs by watching what I eat and running since September 2015.
  5. Ran 7K; planned total for the week is 32K
  6. Finished a 5K. At 17 km for the week; missed three days (busy welcoming a baby boy)
  7. I've had one of my best runs in the rain. Also, view your time off as a chosen rest period. Mentally and physically, it helps to ramp down the distance a bit every 4 to 8 weeks, for one week. I came back from a 8 km stronger and a lot faster.
  8. Don't get discouraged - you'll get there.
  9. Hit my goal of 24 km for the week; ran 10 km in 59 min. Next week is 27 km with another 10km run.
  10. It's in your head - just repeat and refocus. You might need to watch your pace a bit. If it feels like you can't run any more, slow down to a walk for 10 seconds; for me that has helped in not feeling so overwhelmed.

  12. Good job & welcome. Keep posting up your progress. Rob
  13. How many calories are you consuming relative to your BMR? Have sources of calories shifted (i.e. Fats vs carbohydrates) What day are you on?
  14. Finished 23 K for the week. Ran a 5K race this morning, I'm a getting closer to my goal. The last split was actually the fastest split, which was very nice. You have more in the tank then you think.
