  8. Hi Kurt, LBW hit it on the head. I posted an article here somewhere about that very subject. Also look online. I will be running on a treadmill here because u of snow. When you run on a treadmill, the belt propels you forward making it easier. Use an incline setting if you can. It's way different outside. Good luck.
  9. Hi LBW, I'm sorry. That sucks. You should heal pretty fast. Make sure you warm up really good first. There are a lot of workouts you can do that don't involve jumping. Keep me posted.

  12. Hi Elise, Welcome on here. You can do it. Let us know how you do?? Motivational tips?? You definitely can do this. Set up a schedule for yourself and go! I put up a before picture with my weight and all the way down to what I want to be. Check off each weight as I go. Now that's motivation. Good luck.

  14. Hi Chase, Good for you for being so young and wanting to change your health. Proud of you! These apps are great. There are also other ones for lunges, situps, pushups , etc..... You can do it. DO NOT EVER be embarrassed, EVER... You are LAPPING anyone that is not moving.. Is there an indoor track where you live? You might try that... Super Duper proud of you by the way... Make good choices with food, and one foot in front of the other.. We are here for you, Please keep us posted.....

  16. Hi There, I usually do not stretch before a workout ever, you want to make sure your muscles are warm before you stretch. Otherwise you risk injury.. When I am done with the cooldown is when I do stretching... Quads, Hamstrings, Calves, etc.. There might even be an app for that. Thanks for asking, it is a great question! Good luck!

  18. Hi Kathleen, Welcome Here! You choose, you know your body, seems like you are already in great shape, I am thinking you are a Bicyclist and not a Mortorcycle biker?? Even though i do the latter, It is a workout too, lol... Just make sure you do not overtrain and get burned out. Maybe try other things on other days? Bike, Swim, Crosstrain, weights.. Me, Myself, I like to run 4 days a week.. Up to you, Good luck!

    Hi Allegra, Congrats on wanting to do a Marathon. Proud of you. Youcan run however you want, but I would try and run more if you can... Try crosstraining the other days and doing some speed drills to see if you can increase your running time... Good Luck and Keep me posted!!

    Hi Kelley, welcome here, Either way is great. I posted an article on here somewhere about this subject. Just remember that running on a Treadmill, the treadmill belt propels you forward, where as running on the Road seems harder. BUT with the weather getting colder, I am with you, I live on a dirt road and I am not running in the snow, lol, I will hike in it though... You are doing great Kelley. Good Luck!

    If You saved and shared it on Social media it should be there. Keep in mind that it only works for the 5 k app... Did you sync it on the MFP app? Let me know.
