  1. Hi Olive, These apps do not actually show far you are running. Hope its a new feature one day! But in the meantime, I use MapMyFitness or MapMyRun or runkeeper as an app that runs in the background while you run. Start the Fitness app you chose, then start your music app, then c25k app, I usually turn the volume off on the Running one as you will get 2 Coaches telling you what to do, LOL. The Volume is on on the c25k one. Anyways, hope this helps you! Let me know. HUGS!

DO NOT BE SCARED at all, we are all here to help you get fit, feel better and rock this world. Who cares what anyone else thinks out there at all, At least you are moving and now lapping anyone sitting on the couch. You can do this. Under General Chat Topic, I started an Accountability Topic where you can post your workouts everyday and we cheer you on.... If you cannot run, no worries, walk, repeat weeks if you need to , You Are You and there isnt anyone else like you. So, you know your body. Push yourself. You got This Girl! Diet and Exercise go hand in hand. You can lose weight by eating healthy. Small Steps at a time Melody. Change your workout habits first and then change your Food Habits... I am a Paleo person myself. I have just started oen called CarbCycling with Chris Powell. I am soo excited as it seems like my metabolism has stalled..   6. Hi BigDave, Lol I figured that you didn't run with your iPad. Hee hee. Usually from what I figured out is that when it does that it means you are already synced with MFP I think??? When you save your workout, then it should be in MFP in a little bit. See if that helps. Let me know. Don't worry about asking too many questions, I love answering them. Good luck Dave.
  7. Hi Amber. Of course you can. Just make sure you rest when your body tells you to. Maybe longer runs 3x a week and 2days a week shorter runs. Make sure to do other workouts too so you shock your body into doing something else. It keeps your body guessing and you lose more weight too. Cool that your daughter loves to run too.   9. I swear I commented on this post and now I don't see it at all. Weird. Way to go Victoria for quitting smoking. You too Farmgirl. I quit in 1998 and never looked back. It was the craze in Amsterdam, Holland. You teach exercise, then you go downstairs and smoke a cigarette in the bar (all gyms had bars), and drink a cappuccino or booze. Oh the shame now that I look back. Gross right???? But I was in excellent shore there. Seriously. Maybe because we rode our bikes everywhere the Ducth way. Lol Anyways.   13. Hi Amanda, what do you mean you can't run anymore?, like you are tired?, I'd hate to run in place , I'd be bored to death. Yikes. I have a Wii and there is a running game, I just run around my house looking like a complete dork. Hee hee.
  14. Hello Dave, When you are done running it should pop up in the end to save and put it there. First go to MFP, select apps & devices, you should see your 5k app there. Click and sync. So, if you downloaded it to your iPad, are you going to run with your iPad????? Lol. I'm curious. Good luck !!! You can do it. I love these apps.

  17. Hi Sandy, I do love this lifestyle. You can check out food posts on my www.facebook.com/cavegirlcancook I post what I make, and recipes I find on the internet. Usually on friday nights we like Papa Murphys, Delite crust pizza, loaded with meats, cheese, veggies. On Saturdays, we usually go out for the day, we have a Paleo breakfast, then we eat whatever we want for a late lunch. But honestly, I rarely eat fries anymore, hurts my gut. So We keep cheating to a minimal. My favorite VERSATILE vegetable is cauliflower, gosh, there is so much you can do with it, Mashed, Rice, Scalloped, Steamed, Roasted with garlic and parmesan cheese. Oh So Good!!! I am cheeseaholic, but I limit it too!! Check out my page and tell your friends. THere is also a website called cavegirlcancook.. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hi Jay, I have been running for years and I have never used them or have seen them. Maybe someone on here can help if they have tried them. I have always been worried about blood clots using them, but I am not familiar at all. I will be curious to see any other comments from people.
  20. Hi There Jen, Welcome Here! Tell your Mind you are!! You Go this and you can do it. I have been unmotivated so I am ready for Monday to kick my own butt. What I like to do is post pictures of Runners on my Fridge, in the bathroom and that keeps me so motivated. Place articles around the house and that keeps me going. I also made a chart of my starting weight and then the weight I want to be. Have you downloaded the app yet? 5k or 10k? We are all here cheering you on and to keep you going! Good luck!
  21. Hi Domino, Which app are you using? DO NOT QUIT, I ran into a roadblock on Week5, Day1 and i am repeating the whole week. Keep going, you can do it.. Sometimes our bodies want us to rest... I can run like crazy one day and be so slow the next time.. Let Me know!
