W6d2 complete. It was definitely easier than the previous run. Thursday is another long run. I believe 22 minutes. Yay. Looking forward to it. May wait till Friday though. Give my shins some rest. I did get my mile down under 10 minutes today. So proud of myself there. Considering I started at about 15. Want to get it down to around 7. Obviously not by the end of the program but in the future. Jeshi. Are u still doing every other day. Or something different. I'm considering running and doing 2 days off between runs now. Because they are all over 20 minutes now. Input appreciated. Thanks for the encouragement everyone

Sean, I generally run on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and either Tuesday and Wednesday for a total of 4 days a week. Sometimes 3 days a week if it's raining in the morning or when I first started out.

Keep in mind that my sessions are under 2 miles so a 3-day run week is 6 miles/week and a 4-day run week is 8 miles/week for me. You're much faster and as Azatol said, if you're sore the next day, slow down during your runs. Right now, the runs should be getting easier and easier. After you finish the app, you can make them harder and harder  ^_^

I didn't run w6d3 tonight. Work schedule has been all messed up and haven't slept much last few days (been covering someone for there vacation) tonight just went out and ran a mile. Felt pretty good. Bit didn't start the program so I didn't keep going. Feel good. Just didn't want to go a full 5 days before getting some kind of run in. So Saturday morning I will complete week 6. I'm sure of it

Haha. That's messed up. But good motivation. Thanks ruthie

Some friendly competition is healthy. I run with my friend Robbie for my Saturday long run. When I run over 6 miles I need to drop down to a 9:30-10:00 minute/mile(I am not a speedy guy), Without fail, he always pushes me down to 8:30 in the last couple of miles(He's 11 years younger than I and a good bit faster) and I am running so hard I can't speak. It sucks but I've gotten faster from it LOL

Ruthie. Did you get it done. For some reason I did the same thing today. I don't think I can run in circles because I know how much longer so I just stop. I ran 1 mile and was next to my car so I just stopped. Monday I am going going to run 1 mile out and 1 mile back so I never pass my car

I did. But barely...Its funny that you just stopped by your car   I get it though. Its like putting temptation right in your face, and having you not only run, but resist temptation.

I have to keep running every time I run past my house, because all my cats sit around on the sidewalk giving me the evil eye ... so I have to keep going otherwise they will never let me live it down.

Now we are going neck to neck...

Great job, Sean! It really keeps me motivated to run away from my car/house for the first half and run towards them during the second half. It also balances my leg/foot muscles as I run on banked (sloped/tilted) roads.

Don't give up! We're all rooting for you  :D

C25K. I'm sorry I almost let you down. I became a little lazy. But today I completed w6d3. I now remember how much I love you and everyone in this forum. Ruther. I hope u complete it today. Felt so good to run 22 minutes

Way to knock it out...keep stringing the runs together & you'll be running 10K.
