  2. Hi there. Which app Lisa? I am doing the 10k one. I dont think it saves because you move on each time you go out for a run. You can see it that way. On the second tab from the left on the bottom, there is the settings button. There is a share button there. Not sure if i answered your question or not?

    Weight loss

    Yes Kristy. I am doing the 10k app after finishing the 5k one. Im on week 2, day 2. I am finding that it motivates me to go faster, do better. Do you mean you want to lose 40lbs or you have lost 40lbs???? I am going for 30. I vary my running days. I do T25 dvds, 10k app and weight training, depending on how i feel. And 2 nights a week of peak training at our local school. I workout in the mornings as i find that otherwise i will not work out.

I feel like it is better for my knees, but, i have to watch every step because of rocks and snakes. Lol. Yikes. I dont like grass at all. We have paved roads too so i like that as a variation. Great tips in that article.

  7. Hey. Thats awesome. You will become addicted to it. Ive taught for years and i got so burned out. I was in such great shape when I lived in Holland. Back to the states in 1998 and weight came back. Im sick of it so now i am doing it again. I love these forums for motivation and the apps. Super fun. I will look up some exercises for you to do for the IT band. Not reallly heard of it and i am curious. Have an awesome day.

  11. Congrats. You can do this. Get up, do it and we are all in this together. Eat clean. Eat real food!! No fake crap. If you cheat, eat great next meal. We give ourselves one day a week to cheat. Then we eat clean the other days. Lets do this!!!! Proud of you. We are cheering each other on.

    Weight loss

    Hey Christina, great job for beginning. I would use the program for 3-4 times a week and life weights 2x a week. I find thats the most effective for great weightloss. Im right there with you on lbs to lose. Lets do this. Im doing the 10k app and i love it. Ask any questions. I posted fitness calculators under diet and nutrition topic, so go there and it will show you how many calories you need a day. Way to go.

  16. Wow, that is strange for sure. Never heard of that. I would go and see a Dr if I was you. Especially if you have had that for a few weeks or more. GOod luck and keep me posted. I am curious!

    Numbness feet

    So does anything else feel numb on your body? Arms, legs? I am not a DR so you should seriously see someone that can help. I have a bulging disc in my back and mine hands go numb when I sleep. So it might be a disc or a pinched nerve. Have you had this happen before? Like I said, I am not a DR., so get this checked out, it does not sound normal to me. Keep me posted as I am curious now.

  21. So, what do you follow, if at all in the way of eating? I hate the word DIET, who likes to diet? Noone. NADA, not me, lol. I LOVE PALEO, I have a website called www.cavegirlcancook.com I put up recipes the Paleo way. Paleo is Meat, Fruit, Veggies, I do add potatoes and rice sometimes too, I am human and I get bored.. I will not give up my cheese, ever, period. SO what do you eat??? Atkins? Nutrisystem, Medifast? I have friends who have lost a lot on Medifast, but I am rebel ad cannot stand for someone to tell me what to eat. But that is just me... We cheat every Saturday and that does help to burn more weight off. My husband Keith likes The 4 Hour Body diet, i am ot a big bean lover due to the.......... factor, you get that. lol BUt he loves it.. ANyways, thoughts, ideas?
  22. Hey , there is help here. Before I run, I eat something in the way if a protein. SMall for sure, otherwise I get ill... I like a boiled egg, string cheese, half of a protein bar. THen a shake after my run. I cannot run on an empty stomach.

  24. I love M, W, F to run/walk, T, TH I train with weights. Upper/lower body. Abs. Gives your body time to rest and repair.
  25. So, do you not know how many calories to eat in a day? Want to know what your ideal weight should be? Calculate your BMR? (basal metabolic rate) Body Composition? Body Fat? Your RMR? (resting metabolic rate) Target Heart rate should be? Max Hear Rate? I have put them up on my website at: http://cavegirlcancook.com/fitness-calculators/ I use them all the time. Love it. Must be an app for that somewhere?? Zen Labs?
