  3. Hi Erin, Some people hate running, if you are one of them, how about speed walking when it says to run? I used to run all the time and it is hard on your joints. When I found these apps I was thrilled as I feel like I push myself. I love it. Now, if I do not feel like running, I walk really really fast. AS long as you are moving, you are working out. I love challenging myself. Good Luck to you, YOU ARE YOU, go at your own pace...
  4. Hey Tonya, Unless you have been consistently working out, starting with the 13.6 app might be tough. How about starting with the 10k one? Its kicking my butt. Maybe go halfway with it and then switch to the 13.6 one? Or Do the 13.6 app and just do the best that you can with it. I am going to the 13.6 one after the 10.. You can do it.
  5. Hey there. So happy for you. You can definitely do the first day over if you'd like. So proud of you. I quit smoking in 1998 and never looked back. I used patches too. So. For MyFitness pal, go to the apps & Devices on the app. You should then see the c25k app to sync with. I love it. Good luck and welcome to you.

  8. Hey Lace, Congrats on beginning, Look at you go, nothing like feeling YES I CAN!! woohoo. If you havent worked out for awhile, feeling ill is probably normal, are you pushing it too hard?? That might be it. Go with how you feel. Thanks for the intro and we are all in this together. So, I have seen it all as an instructor. What is ACE??? Please tell me. I have never heard of that. btw, I am on Week 3, Day 1 tomorrow of the 10 k app, I love it. Absolutely love the coaching... I ran today even when I was tired... We are here on your journey with you.     Stretching

    Me too Sarah, I have popped so many muscles and they are noooo fun, I am not in the mood to be sidelined anymore. Warm up first and then pause the app and stretch. You never want to stretch those calf muscles cold... I like to place my heel off the back of a step to stretch, or in front of you in a leaning position. Happy Running!

  11. You have what every person dreams of. I remember trying to gain weight years ago, now I wish I could lose. lol Your PT will have you gain muscle, that will help. Are you Female or Male? 105 is small. Protein shakes are great. If you go to a health store, they do have weight gainer shakes, so you can talk to someone who really knows all about it. GNC, etc.... Keep me posted on here... Good luck

  18. You bet Tammy, You have taken the First step in this journey. Now that my hubby and I have been eating clean, when we do want to endulge, we feel ill. I cannot stand bad carbs anymore, all that processed food, ugghh. Go for it Tammy.
  19. Hey Glo, Welcome and Congrats on beginning. Do not be fearful, be excited. You got this. What I love, is that each day is different and such a motivator. WE have had major smoke on our valley here from a fire in California and I have not been aboe to go outside for a run. So I workout to Dvds. This app is only for 3 days a week, then do whatever else you love to do. Squats while you fold laundry , lunges through the house, leg lifts while you wash dishes. You can do it and we are all here for you. You began and thats all that matters. Here you go, cheers!

  21. Hey farmgirl. I am in the boonies myself and I run my track around my property right now. When I hike with my friend, we don't listen to music. I finally download the app and I went past the screen and see the free music. Thanks. I love how we all help each other.
