KellyAnn
You Bet applerose, Great job on your run. Azatol, I am wanting to be like you, I have logged in MFP for years and when I delete it, I have withdrawals and install it again. I really need to stop counting calories as I eat healthy, mostly Paleo with a few carb days. Diane1901
Diane1901
Hi Azatol and everyone thanks for welcoming me to your group. I'm not counting calories (should I be?!) I don't think it'll be necessary. I'm eating what I want on Paleo and staying within my MFP daily allowance without a problem. Had quite a startling moment in Asda tho. On paleo you really only visit the first two aisles of my local store, fruit and veg, followed by meat and fish. THEN YOU'RE DONE! All those years of grazing 28 aisles of rubbish!!! Really opened my eyes to the sheer volume of processed food and junk ive thrown routinely in my trolley, on autopilot for years Jo4applerose
TheRoseWithin~Shannon
Hi Diane! It is a personal choice, so only if you choose. I don't and do not miss it all. Speaking of auto pilot ... it's great gettin' back into the drivers seat again isn't it!! Taking control in life-affirming ways! TheRoseWithin~Shannon
"It is a personal choice, so only if you choose. I don't and do not miss it at all." I wanted to clarify. I was never into counting calories, I tried it, yet when I started Body for Life (2003) ... I stopped and have never counted a calorie since - I notice calories, yet I do not count them. I loved and still love BFL's approach - palm and fist portions/5-6 light meals a day. Easy peasy, along with being FUN! As a side note, I dropped from 26.6% body fat down to 13.3% body fat at the end of 12 weeks. Today, I have yet to set nutrition and water goals, yet I will definitely return to the above approach as it worked so well for me. Azatol
Hi Diane. I dont' count calories. That's one of the best things about Paleo. Just try and eat enough broccoli to gain weight LOL

KellyAnn
I added you Diane, but I will post workouts there and I do not think I will be counting calories much. I log food everyday and they always seem to be below 1400 calories so I will log workouts and Buddy up on there. Sometimes i do not feel like I am getting enough calories, so we do eat beans too.. kellsmac83
Welcome Diane!! I'm afraid I'm on a pseudopaleo diet called "The Nerd Fitness" diet. We don't count calories. KellyAnn
Awesome job Kellsmac. You are doing great. You should start your on Journal on the main Accountability 2015 Board. I could not run at night for the life of me, i am a chicken, lol.. Too many things come out at night where I live. I usually follow Mountain Lion tracks, coyote, raccoon tracks in the daytime where I live. HA!!! Scary!
pics4_65
Started the c25k this week and did day 2 week one today. I'm just walking slow then faster during the run part because of how far out of shape I am. By doing this once walking then a second time running I should be able to do a 5k by my birthday in July. It took me a long time to get this bad so it will not be an overnight transformation. If everything works health wise I'm hoping to be able to do the Detroit Free Press half marathon in 2016.
