Hi Turner, Training 3 days a week, usually means Mon, Wed & Fri, Or Tues, Thur & Saturday. I would do other workouts on the other days. Some days I just do day 3 over again. Up to you how you do it. I would definitely space out your training days. Other days i love to lift weights, hike, etc... Good luck!

Awesome Kate, Love your enthusiasm, I might switch from the 10k app to the 13.1 app as I am a high energy person and need more, that is me though... Rest when needed. Good Luck!

Hi Ingrid, Wow, you ended 2013 with a bang. You can do it again. Think of eating and exercising as a Lifestyle Change and not, oh man, another diet, this sucks. Been there, done that. If you think of it all as a Lifestyle change and you are doing it for better health and a better you, it might change the way you are thinking. I taught exercise for years and was in total burnout for a few years, of course the weight came back on and now I am doing this for me and feeling way better about myself. You got this and you can do it. The C25k app is awesome, great motivater. BEGIN TODAY, it does not take long at all and you will become addicted. I love it. Nothing like taking care of your self and feeling good about yourself. So, how are your eating habits? Anything I can hep you with? Good luck and check in on here. HUGS!

hi there, It depends on if you have been working out at all? If you have been, then it might be ok to try. Start the app and increase to 4 days a week of training. 3 miles is not bad at all, but it might be tough if you ave not worked out at all. Try not to train more than 3-4 days a week, do lift weights, and cross train too. Keep me posted and good luck.

Hey Lisa, You are doing amazing. SOOO proud of you. DO NOT LET ANYONE STOP YOU from doing what you want to do. If after you start getting into shape and he doesn't want to , then so be it. His choice. I have worked out for years while the hubby never ever works out. Give that 20 years later, he does now for health. We are both eating healthy and when we do cheat, we get ill, so those cheat days are disappearing. I am proud of him, while i know he won't work out like I do I am happy he is doing something. I am sad that if your husband is overweight that he wouldn;t want to lose weight too. I am hoping you can post soon. They should respond to you. Keep it up Girl and be proud of yourself and make healthier choices. Give up the soda and use it as treat once in awhile. I do. Check in so we can cheer you on! Congrats! and Hugs!

Hi There Aeloris. Welcome on here. You have started and that is what matters, that is awesome. You can do this! We are all on here cheering each other on. So check in and we praise each other. I have posted and Accountability group in General Chat if that helps you. I found the app really motivating and I was wanting to do more and more. Wow, what teacher says too, add another day? Running on a treadmill is way easier too. The belt helps you along. Sometimes our bodies need a break. I have to deal with altitude too.. I am at 5000 feet and it way harder, and when I am on a trip and it is sea level, i can run like forever, lol. How are you feeling now?

Hi Kate, I love your enthusiasm.. If you want to skip ahead a week, go ahead, listen to your body though. Maybe add extra days in instead? Like do that week in 4-5 days instead of 3? I do extra days sometimes when I am feeling amazing. Because one week I was sick and could not work out at all. You are you and you know your body, listen to it and rest when needed, Let me know what you decide to do? Hugs

HI MELISSA, WELCOME HERE. You got this... Do not let anyone stand in your way at all.. We weigh about the same and I am 5'2". I have been busting my butt working out am and pm, eating healthy, etc.. and it is barely budging, but I am doing it. Hoping it will fall off one day. I used to be so little, thinking it is my thyroid. So, how come no support at home? is it your spouse? Make the time for yourself, you are so important. I follow the Paleo way of lifestyle. I cheat on Saturdays, by SUnday I am ready for real foo again. Processed foods make me sick, You got this girl, we are all here to support you. I am definitely here for you. Proud of you. Since we are the same weight and size, we can buddy up. I love these apps so much. I look forward to my wokouts everyday. Good luck to you can you can do anything you set your mind to. I made my diary so oyu can see what I eat. I keep my calories under 1400 a day. Hey there. Congrats on starting. It is fun. No, you didn't do a 5k, it is training you for one. So, I use another app in the background that tracks how far I go. I use Mapmywalk. Any other app that track milieage would be good. Good luck to you.

Hi Farmgirl and Mom37, Thanks Mom37, I will look into those. I have been buying the Xersion tops for years, bra in a top. THey are great. I hate tight anything, so I have even snipped the sides of the inside bra, and they dont jiggle much. I am annoyed that I used to buy these tops at JcPenneys all the time and now they are selling tops and bras seperate now. Glad I have a huge stash. Xersion is a great brand. I will def look in the shock one. thanks

On an elliptical annoying ramp and resistance
