  1. Start power walking 30-60 minutes a day.
  2. Gotta push yourself past that point or maybe an extra day off for your muscles to repair.
  3. When you start pushing yourself and get to that point where the running gets easier you will enjoy it. Gotta get over that plateau.
  4. Got new asics shoes today. That might have helped.
  5. Made it through W8D3. Could have kept going but didnt want to overdo it. Last run was only 15 minutes so it was a big positive jump. Not quiting yet.
  6. In a slump...cant push past the burning in my legs during a run.

  8. You can do this! Im 39 and my joints and muscles feel it too. Sometimes I have to take an extra rest day.
  9. To lose weight try counting your calories. Ive lost 60 pounds on 1000 calories a day.
  10. Running is also an effective way to let out stress and frustrations and you will love the feeling you get after a run. You feel so good!
  11. You can do it! The app is motivating and you will look forward to completing each goal. Running will become fun and an addiction you will stay with. When you want to quit you wont cuz u dont want to lose all your progress and the health benefits. Happy running!

  13. Tried running today but legs got too tired and stopped at one mile.

    Take a break until it goes away. Then your body will come back stronger next time.
  17. Ran a mile. Had to stop because of rain. Later tried W9D1 and failed on last run. Lol
  18. 2nd 35 minute run. Hoped for fourty but I had nothing left in the tank. Maybe next time.

  20. Great cat! I did a 35 minute run today. Trying to make that 5k.
  21. Just remember accomplishing the goals on this app is such a great feeling and running makes you feel so good!
  22. In my first 5k there was a power walker going the same speed as me.
