  1. Hi there! My name is Allie and I'm just starting out. I'm 20 years old and I go to Aurora University. I've been meaning to get back in shape for a while now but have always find it difficult to stay motivated. I feel that now I have a schedule and an end goal I will find it easier to stay motivated... Hopefully. Feel free to contact me and we can talk about our journies together or anything else really (:

    Hi. 5k to 10k ?

The first eight weeks of C25K are identical to the first eight weeks of the 10K app. I ended up completing C25K and down loading the 10K. The 10K app gave the option to skip to week 9. Rob

  4. 5K...about 1k into the run I realized my playlist ended. It was a nice change actually; felt like I could focus on the breathing a bit better.

    In need of advice !

So I am getting ready to do a physical fitness test for the California department of corrections. Today is day 3 for me on training , I've been running 1 mile a day and began this app today in addition to my mile. Day one my mile was 16 min 48 sec yesterday was 14 min 47 sec and today was 15 min 7 sec. Today I did W1 Day 1 and finished without breaks . By continuing my mile a day AND this app in addition to my routine how much will I improve in 3 weeks ? If I fail this test I won't be able to test out till Jan 2017!!! I need help with running without stoping a breathing & how can I get faster ????? Thank in advance !

  6. Welcome. The app really works if you put in the time. I started out in pretty bad shape - I've lost 25 lbs and run over an hour (I couldn't have imagined that when I started). Aside from running, logging what I eat in MyFitnessPal has helped out significantly since I'm aware of how much I can eat to lose weight. It also helps in the sense that I don't feel I'm dieting, I'm just making better choices about the amount and what I'm eating. Post up your workout status as you complete days. Don't worry about the pace, just follow the program - the pace will come. You can do this!! Rob

  8. I was in the same boat this time last year as you. I started walking around 15 minutes a day for 3 months. Went to 30 minutes for 7 month and an hour for the last 2 months and I've lost over 10 stones or 140lbs for countries that don't use stones and count in pounds.
