Our bodies release Endorphins and running is one that raises it pretty high, makes us feel better about ourselves and to push harder. For me, being a workout Lover, I feel great when I do and bummed when I don't... You got this and Good luck to you! Keep us posted....

They also have a PushUp Challenge app, situps, lunges, squats etc... Pretty cool. You will def need interval training for the Navy. Keep me posted on your progress, I am so curious! Good Luck!
  7. Hi There Denise, These apps are absolutely wonderful in helping you to be able to run 5k, 10k, 13.6 and 21.2k runs. I am doing the 10k one and I love it. These forums are great for support and we cheer each other on here. I hope someone who has done the the 13.6 one helps you too. I am curious myself. I love the coaching of the app as I do not think I would this if it wasnt for it telling me what to do, lol. Too Lazy! Good Luck!
  8. Hi Dixy, Congrats on new baby. Just make sure you clear it with you DR before you begin. Usually a Dr wants you to wait for at least 8 weeks..Keep me posted.
  9. Hi TeTe, Winded? Like you cannot catch your breath? I think you should do some breathing exercises. At least 3x a day Breathe in deep and hold it in your lungs, there is an app called Peaceful Breathing and it is great for that. Also, Look up Oxycise, she shows you how to breathe. Not a lot of people know how to breathe deep into their lungs at all. Try that for a few days.. That should help.. We breathe so shallow most of the time.....
  10. Hi. I'd do every other day. A lot of people, like me, want More, so I add in other days or just repeat the runs. I love 4-5 days a week and then do other workouts the other days. Cross training is great as you shock your body. Good luck.

  12. Woohoo. Great job Ashlee. You got this. There is an article I psited about shin splints and this website has one under blogs I think about shin splints. Get great shoes is the number one thing for your shin splints. Good luck.
  13. Hi Kiah, Just save that junk food for one day a week. We like to have a healthy breakfast on Saturday mornings and then cheat the rest of the day. Yo won't gain weight. You will actually bust some weight. Go back to healthy eating on Sunday. I can rarely eat fries anymore, makes me I'll and they WERE my favorite. Lol. You can do it. Make healthy versions if junk food. No bun on a burger, cauliflower mashed , etc. your body will love it.
