    Hi.  Well I finally was able to finish the week 1 workout.  It took me 4 tries to get it.  I weigh 300 pounds so its a bit hard.  A couple years ago I finish this program, but now i gained alot of weight and grew out of shape.
    I have been going almost every day and not sore so i am happy.  I run with my dog and son.  They help motivate me.  I need to lose like 100 pounds.  I also want to do some 5K soon.

    After a winter break, just starting back to it.  Went with son and dog. Beautiful day. 79 degrees in Pennsylvania.  Ran really slow so I could make it through. At 290 pounds its not easy. Lol.

    Nutrisystem works and is easy. They send all the food in the mail. I lost 70 pounds so far in seven months. Been cheating on it for awhile though. Gotta have that self control!

    still wasn't ready for W5D3. Did W6D2, the two ten minute runs. struggled through that. thought I might have heart attack. lol

    Holter monitor came out normal.  Have a stress test on Thursday.  Hopefully I'm fine.  Takin it easy I sarted over at W1D1 and had no problems today.

    Oh i go at 7.5 kph. I was thinking mph. Haha 4 kph is pretty darn slow.

    Race went really well. I had to stop and walk a few times, didnt want to have a heart attack. Had a good time. I was the chubbiest one there. Had a W10D1 fail today. Thought i was ready. Think I will try W9.

    I use the Le-Vel THRIVE Experience - Men's Lifestyle Pack! I've been on it for 3 weeks and on my 2nd week of c25k. I lost 11 pounds my first week on the Thrive and have had 0 trouble(knock on wood) while doing the c25k this time! I tried 3 years ago at age 52 at 230# where now I weigh 231and couldn't do it. I would get so out of breath and be so weak I couldn't get past the 3rd week staying on (week 3) 5 times. I'm at (week 2) day 2 this time and feel like I'm 30!

    I've had one of my best runs in the rain. Also, view your time off as a chosen rest period. Mentally and physically, it helps to ramp down the distance a bit every 4 to 8 weeks, for one week. I came back from a 8 km stronger and a lot faster.

    is it possible to take it inside on these days?  We are sweltering hot here, so I am indoors with fans on me.  much easier.  and can listen to music up high and not have to worry about traffic

    I graduated the c25k last year - never a runner in my life! I hadn't done a good run for 6 weeks, eaten a lot, drank a whole lot of red wine. This morning I set my 5.30am alarm ...... Knew it was going to be a struggle re-starting ...... But boy I feel great now. I'm determined to get fit again and run 2-3x per week. I need to stay motivated! (And lose weight ..... Again ......)
