  9. Deb, great job and congrats on starting the program. I do the same thing, alarm goes off sometime between 5:30 and 6 a.m., depending on how far I'm running that morning. I feel the same way, by the end of the day, I will not want to get out on the road. I've also found that a good run is a great way to get the day started. I feel like I've accomplished so much before 7 a.m.

  11. "It is a personal choice, so only if you choose. I don't and do not miss it at all." I wanted to clarify. I was never into counting calories, I tried it, yet when I started Body for Life (2003) ... I stopped and have never counted a calorie since - I notice calories, yet I do not count them. I loved and still love BFL's approach - palm and fist portions/5-6 light meals a day. Easy peasy, along with being FUN! As a side note, I dropped from 26.6% body fat down to 13.3% body fat at the end of 12 weeks. Today, I have yet to set nutrition and water goals, yet I will definitely return to the above approach as it worked so well for me.

  12. Hi Azatol and everyone thanks for welcoming me to your group. I'm not counting calories (should I be?!) I don't think it'll be necessary. I'm eating what I want on Paleo and staying within my MFP daily allowance without a problem. Had quite a startling moment in Asda tho. On paleo you really only visit the first two aisles of my local store, fruit and veg, followed by meat and fish. THEN YOU'RE DONE! All those years of grazing 28 aisles of rubbish!!! Really opened my eyes to the sheer volume of processed food and junk ive thrown routinely in my trolley, on autopilot for years

Thats hilarious with the toilet paper wads. I am sure we all have stories to tell about our noses, potty issues, etc... I have used the inside of my exercise top to blow my nose, yuck right?? I live way in the country, noone sees me run or hike. One day, I had to really - YA KNOW - GO! TMI, but funny. I was close to home, but could not make it, nothing to wipe with but a rock, HA HA HA HA, I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER forgot my tissue in my pocket EVER EVER again, hee hee.... When I ran in Holland, Europeans do not care at all where they go with number 1, seriously, in a race, and the lines are too long at the potty, they will just go right next to it. Gotta pee while shopping?? just go in the bushes. I had to retrain my little boys when we got back to the States, they didnt understand at WalMart Parking lot, why they couldn't just use a bush. lol Anyways, funny stuff...

I am so sore today after getting back to my workouts on monday. Hope this helps. Keep me posted. Hugs

    Accountability Buddies!!

Outside is where you will run your first 5k so outside is the best place to run, then indoor track, treadmill and I guess if you can jogf in place why not. ANYTHING is better than sitting on your butt!!
