today is a walking day if rain not to hard ill do outside if not up and down the hall at work then before dinner will be my strength stuff i finally came down a pound only 4 more to reach my goal i set last Christmas it is strange though tape measure says no inches lost yet many clothes i cant wear anymore cause they are to big coworker says it cause i tied my tubes and that pooch belly is from that and will never go away

i hope so also i thought maybe a fast run tonight but life got in the way so it was just strength training after dinner and erands and laundry now im just done in.

Strength training is so win for your running! Good decision!

Today I woke up at 4:30 don't know why Did my get ready for work stuff and get the teen up stuff had to be in early because of staffing issues so no pre work run and again only half a break today so I did w4d1 after work. It wasn't to hard a little legg cramp somewhere in the 5 min run then it went away also I didn't hear begin walking after last run so I was still running when she said one min left so yep kept running and then she said begin your cool down and I was like why what I want to keep going but I began my cool down anyway. Now because dinner is cooked and eaten kids are occupied and this day has been so long I am sitting on my couch in my pjs in full couch potato mode

i did thank you unfortunately i triggered bad allergies for myself this morning. Last night my teen wanted hot coco i cant make her a cup and not have one myself i spiked mine with a shot of kahlua slept very well but today i am all stuffy and congested i had to much of my fave food group yesterday i had forgoten about the chocolate ice cream we had at work! I am hoping to clear up soon as i want to do my long walk. I need to be more mindful of what i am eating when it is something extra i didnt pre plan or log on my fit pal

so I can't even take my own advice when my ocd kicks in some one posted an uh oh that they skipped a day and should they go back. I said only if they wanted to but not neccessary I didn't go back when I upgraded to pro and lost data. Then today while I was doing my long walk the 7.1 mile one I realized I was running out of time and had to get home so I started week one day one and at the end ran through the last walk and the cool down then I started week one day 2 and did the same just so I could have something logged on those days in the pro version and to get me home faster. I did my walk in an hr and 40 min instead of my usual 2 hrs. so im very happy. Im not overly sore either just the same as if I walked it all. But man was I hungry when I got home couldn"t wait to finish streching so I could eat peanut butter flaxseed meal and semi sweet chips mixed yum that and big glass h2o I was happy. Hope I don't pay for this when I do my w4d2 run tomorrow.

w4d2 done and im guessing because of yestetdays ocd thats why today seemed like a walk in the park this app tells me 2 miles in 31 min dont know if that is good or bad dont really care i just feel invincible. I did wake up with my right knee sore /tight just not right so i did Ruthies knee excersizes right after breakfast and i was ready to run 2 hrs later

Very dark chocolat is healthy and good for you as far as I'm concerned, I like the darn milky one, which is full of sugar and God knows what else! It's a very good bad habit to like dark chocolat, you are a lucky woman xxx

Linita&I I have eaten pure 100%cacoa and loved it It is not the sugar part i love but hey ill eat whaterer chocolate comes my way. Shame or blessing to be alergic to it also I know exactly how much a day i can have without being sick at night and next day. Jeshi I was just contemplating surfing the web after reading all the posts and skipping strength training for tonight it was a very physical day at work today but then i read your post so now i have to go excetsize. so thanks for being there

Anne, so glad to have our community! We're there for each other when we don't feel like doing it or when we're afraid to tackle the long run.

 

It's awesome that you got to spend time with your daughter strength training and building healthy habits together  :)
