  1. http://www.zenlabsfitness.com/difference-running-treadmill-running-pavement/ As you gear up to get started on your running routine, one of the most important things that you might be asking yourself is where to do your runs. While some people have a srong preference of either the treadmill or outside, others may not be so sure. Is one better than the other? Would you see enhanced results running outdoors compared to on a treadmill? Or perhaps the treadmill is better? By understanding the differences between the two, you can make a more informed decision on where to do your runs.

  4. I like both. Treadmill propels you forward so i prefer an incline. Weather outside is bad, i love the indoors.

  5. I bought a Reebok Treadmill from Costco.com about 5-6 years ago. It was normally about $1300, but I got it on sale for $899. It's been a GREAT investment. I use it 3-4 days a week. You can do your own thing or plug in different programs that you can purchase on SD cards with different workouts. Also had speakers to plug your phone or iPod into.

  6. I have this one. I needed something affordable as well. I have had it for about 4 years now and I use it 3-4 times a week. As long as you take care of it, it should last you awhile.

  7. It's a Golds Gym trainer 720 treadmill and is $568 delivered or $648 assembled - it's very heavy and requires 2 people to assemble but it's not hard to do. But I have the delivery guys extra to carry it around back of my house so I didn't have to move it!

  8. I got a Golds Gym one on sale on Amazon - it was under $500 at the time with delivery. It's huge but I will see if I can find a link to paste.

  9. Hi everyone. I'm thinking of purchasing a Sole F63 (I'm on a budget). Do you recommend this treadmill? Any others (under $1k)? Cheers

  10. Running on a treadmill is safer. After a sexual assault 35 years ago when I was running at age 14, I find that the treadmill brings me the peace that I can't get outdoors (where I always feel like someone is behind me, even today, even after years of therapy.) But nothing can stop me from running! . Bring on that belt. I love it!

  12. I've started using a treadmill because I find its easier on my body than running outside. I'm quite overweight and am just losing weight after having a baby. I never used to run on a treadmill but I guess the weight is having a significant impact on my frame.

  13. I have before. I have since lost my conditioning. So I'm reconditioning inside on the treadmill and slowly working my way up. I have to have music because its a bit boring. I found it easier once I got a pace down. Afterwards youll want to jog the neighborhood because you get bored. I highly recommend it with the heat (I also am in TX.

  14. Has anyone trained on a treadmill for a 5k? So I am in TX and while I prefer to run outside, the weather lately has been prohibitive. So I am probably going to train mostly on the treadmill. But my end goal is to run a 5k. Has anyone done it? Thanks, Heather

  15. Nice article. Thanks for sharing.. The treadmill can be a great training tool and essential for those of us who live in harsh weather environments (both hot and cold). However, don’t neglect the specific skills you need to develop by running outside on occasion.
