Guest Leanne
I have been using the 10k for pink app running on an elliptical machine. I am on week 12. My left toes start to go numb around 2.5 miles and then numbness slowly moves into the ball of my foot if I don't make a concerted effort to wiggle my toes around. Most the time my right foot toes will also start to go numb closer to 3 miles. I read that it could be too small shoes so I got new bigger shoes which were fitted at a running store. This did not help. I read this could be something much more serious requiring surgery. Yikes! Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you. KellyAnn
Hey Leanne, Yikes. That's not good. The only way mine goes numb is my shoelaces are too tight or shoes too small. You definitely want to check that out. Have you researched online? Please keep me posted. I'm now curious. Hugs.
Guest Deanna
This always happens to me when I'm on an elliptical. So I avoid the machine all together. It's the only machine this happens to me, I use my same shoes for every other exercise
KellyAnn
That is really interesting Deanna. Only that machine. Hmmm. Wonder if there s something pinching in your back??
sdbeachgirl
Could be something going on with your circulation. Since you've already tried getting better shoes, I suggest 1) try a workout on the treadmill and see if the same thing happens, and 2) go back to the shoe store where you got fitted to see what they might suggest. If neither of those work, go visit your doc to rule out anything serious. I had this happen to me before while doing some at-home workouts and it was my shoes :\ Hope you get it figured out soon! Keep us posted. KellyAnn
Guest Guest
I have the same problem and I was diagnosed with tarpal tunnel syndrome. It's like carpal tunnel of the feet. It's a nerve issue. I'm not saying that's what you have but it's something to look into.

Guest Guest
Metatarsal issues? Suffered with this for years. Proper supportive insoles will help but go see your doctor
Jo4applerose
This happens to me too on the elliptical the first few weeks of using it then eventually it doesn't happen anymore. I've heard of a lot of people with this issue.
Denise
I loosened my laces and found no difference and than loosened them some more with no problem. Are you keeping your feet flat and gliding. I first was like someone standing on a bike and my feet were going everywhere. Hope this helps

Mine is a leftover from diabetes. You might also check with your local runnign store and look into inserts as well as proper running socks. Belega Hidden Comfort socks sare like walking on a cloud.
