farmgirl 13 Report post Posted October 3, 2014 Ok Ladies I need some advice. There's no way to ask this without being blunt, but I need some help keeping "the girls" from jiggling so bad when I run. I have been blessed with an ample chest and I'm having trouble finding a sports bra that will reign them in. I have gone as far as buying one that's a couple of sizes too small and geez it hurts! When I run they run too and it's becoming very uncomfortable on the days that I run the track or outdoors. I don't want to have to choose between being able to breathe or bruising my boobs and I'm sure that I'm not alone in this struggle so can anyone give me any advice on a great sports bra? 1 jbmom91 reacted to this

KellyAnn 281 Report post Posted October 3, 2014 Hi Farmgirl and Mom37, Thanks Mom37, I will look into those. I have been buying the Xersion tops for years, bra in a top. THey are great. I hate tight anything, so I have even snipped the sides of the inside bra, and they dont jiggle much. I am annoyed that I used to buy these tops at JcPenneys all the time and now they are selling tops and bras seperate now. Glad I have a huge stash. Xersion is a great brand. I will def look in the shock one. thanks 1 jennuhfur reacted to this

Guest Kate Report post Posted October 5, 2014 I use the Panache sports bra - I would really recommend going to a bra shop to get fitted. There's one specifically for sports bras for DD and up where I live that has SAVED my life! They get you on a treadmill and really let you see how you feel! 1 Georgia M reacted to this
farmgirl 13 Report post Posted October 6, 2014 Thanks for the advice Kate! However, there are no shops quite like this anywhere near me. I've looked for running shops too where I could have my running style analyzed to recommend good shoes but this would be a day trip for me LOL! It's a sacrifice that I have to make for my rural mountain paradise living I guess I will, however, check out these brands online to see if I can find something that fits both my chest and my budget. Guest Reba Report post Posted October 7, 2014 I bought mine at kohls in the bra section NOT the sports section. They have bra sizes not S, M, L, etc. The girls stay in and are comfy!

DVaknin 2 Report post Posted October 13, 2014 Love the Natori 'Yogi' Convertible Bra. I bought it at Nordstroms and it is a bit pricey. I waited for them to go on sale, usually $20 off the original price. Amazing! And I wear a large size. 1 KellyAnn reacted to this
anewnam 3 Report post Posted October 28, 2014 Look up Glamorise double layer custom control sports bra on amazon. I have this sports bra and it is awesome. I am a 40DDD and it provides amazing support. 1 KellyAnn reacted to this
Guest Mel Report post Posted November 14, 2014 If you are bigger, look for something in the uk or start in "storm in a d cup". I'm an Aussie g cup who has enough trouble buying day to day bras let alone a sports bra. They are near to non existent!
Guest kirsti Report post Posted November 21, 2014 I gave up on the bras. I'm a 42 D. I bought an adjustable abdominal binder and put it over my bra when on the treadmill.
Guest Caz Report post Posted November 24, 2014 Moving comfort make really good bras. I have a few Juno ones and I'm pretty sure they'd stop bullets they're that solid.
sdbeachgirl 16 Report post Posted November 26, 2014 I'm big chested myself, and I always have to make sure the bra indicates that it's for high intensity workouts. I've had good luck with Old Navy sports bras and Champion. I'm cheap, so I don't like to pay a lot of $ for stuff lol I was surprised at how well ON sports bras held the girls in without suffocating me.
Alexis99 2 Report post Posted November 27, 2014 Bras by Moving Comfort are my go to bras for running. The bras are comfortable and provide enough support to eliminate bouncing.
Guest Jennifer Report post Posted November 30, 2014 I just bought the sports bra from Victoria Secret and I love it so far. I'm a 38 DD and have a problem finding a bra that keeps me comfortable when I run. The girls haven't moved so it was worth the extra money for me. 1 Dorking reacted to this
Kelly Reilly 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2014 I recommend Enell maximum support wire free sports bra. It's a little pricy but the girls do not move! I'm a 40DDD and it works great!
Guest ChelseaC Report post Posted December 20, 2014 I realize this is a bit old, but I bought my current sports bra from Title Nine eight years ago and it's still in good shape. I'm a 38D/36E depending on who you ask. They carry sports bras for D+ and they really do work. I think they've broken off their bra section into a store called Bounce, but it's linked at the top of the Title Nine site.
Nephthys76 1 Report post Posted January 8, 2015 Moving' Comfort Juno and Maia. I've used each of them for full marathons and loved them both. The Maia is my favorite because you do not have to pull it off over your head like the Juno. The Juno worked great but I often needed help getting out of it while I was tired after a run. The lady who assisted me when purchasing my bras said that you usually need to go up one number size, and/or a cup size because they don't have as much give as a normal bra. I'm normally a 38DD and my Maia is a 40DD. It is pretty tight but relaxes a bit after a few minutes. I can still breath fine.
Lydia 1 Report post Posted February 16, 2015 I wear two sports bras from any manufacturer and that seems to be comfortable and minimizes the jiggle!
REllis 2 Report post Posted July 14, 2015 Find a sports bra that individually cups, but also compresses your girls. I tried the old navy ones and all they offer is compression. I am currently in love with the Norwalk Tank from Fabletics which not o my offers removable cups, but also had mega compression and is disguised as a tank top-awesome for running!! 1 Momma 'Vestre reacted to this
chr0nicbookworm 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2015 I wear 32DD. I always look for high impact in a style that goes by bra sizes not S/M/L. If you don't want wire I really like the Under Armour a Armour "Protégée" bra. Also I have actually had really good luck with the Victoria's Secret front-zip incredible and knockout bras. Recently bought a panache high impact panache sports bra in the Athleta semi annual but haven't tried it yet. I'll let you know!

Ava 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2015 Title nine has a fantastic selection of bras. They can be a bit expensive but for us larger chested ladies w/ smaller rib cages they really have done their research and have a quality selection that work great. Plus very friendly customer service and no troubles with returns or exchanges. They really want you to find the one that works best for you!
Dorking 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2015 Victoria's Secret sells the best sports bra I have ever had! Has a front bra closure plus a zip front. It's so comfortable and keeps the girls in place!
