How old is too old to start?

i am about to turn 54 (ugh! I said it out loud) and have already lost 85 lbs but have 50 more to go. A close friend has recommended this several times, she uses it religiously and has lost almost 30 lbs, but she has been doing it for several years off and on. I will admit to being terrified. Open to suggestions. Have really bad hips and want to avoid injury. Thank you in advance.

Hi All, at almost 55 ready to finally get fit and healthy! Gained a lot of weight over the years and 2 months ago had gastric bypass surgery to help me lose it. Now that I've completed that step, it's time to get more active to continue the weight loss. I'm currently down 40 pounds so I feel like I'm ready ! Here goes nothing!!!!
