Hermes
I was able to put week 5 day 2 behind me. It wasn't too bad. Not sure I'm ready for day 3. Twenty minutes non-stop might be a little tough for me right now. I might repeat wk5 day 2 first. We'll see. Roman Soldier

Wprdtoyourmother
I didn't think I could do it either, but I just crushed it about 30 minutes ago. Well, maybe not crushed, but I did finish the 20 minutes without stopping, and it was right at 1-1/2 miles. I'm so pumped, and I know you will be too when you crush it. Roman Soldier
Nearly made it, I was mentally able to push through but calf pain got me at 16 minutes and now I'm limping. Will try again in 2 days. Well done you though herme s, I maybe will slow down a but I was going at 11min/mile pace
Hermes
11 min per mile pace?? That's really fast. No wonder you had problems. Slow down, to a 6 minute mile pace and I'm sure you'll make it with ease. Then build up your speed. I'm just trying to get to the point where I can complete the 5k distance. I'm not worrying about speed until after that. Good luck on your next try.

KellyAnn
Way to go Roman Soldier!!!!!! Isnt a 6 minute mile pace really fast and a 11 minute mile slower???? I used to run a 9 minute mile and that was fast for short legs, now its about 11minute miles. Is that right?

KellyAnn
Hermes, lol, i did get it right. I tried to go yesterday and it was way tooo hot. Man. It was 16 minutes for a mile. But its uphill and downhill. Uughh. I did give upmafter 1 mile, but it was 90 degrees. I came in and lifted weights and did all the other apps from zenlabs. Squats, apps, butt, legs, pushups, pullups. I will go run this am while it is cool out. Was I bummed?, oh heack yeah, but back out there this am. Super proud of you Hermes. Woohoooo!! moaber
So quick question for you all. I am w5d2 tomorrow and realized that it is the first day to have a distance requirement... But running 3/4 mile @ 8 minutes is the same pace as walking 1/2 mile @ 5 minutes... So did you ignore the distance and just do the time? Malunorabuena
I am starting week 5 tomorrow amd feeli g excited and frightened! I am no t really worried about day one or two, it will be hard but i know i will do it, with some suffering off course. Day 3 seems really daunting! I am trying not to think about it, but it is hard. But everyone who writes about their experience finally manages to survive and finish it, i guess the important thing is to give it a try and try and try until you complete it! Sooooo, this will be week 5 , take
