  1. So, I've fallen off, the last time I trained properly was in January, doing week10 before travelling then falling quite ill for a few months and also a family emergency to cap it off. I'm now recovered, (thank God!!!) and am keen to get moving again. I thought that I'd lost all fitness and maybe not, so I started back on W5 D3(since it is the mentally challenging run) and went for my first run in 3+ months last week and nearly passed out, a pretty funny sight, sitting on the sidewalk and little children walking past LOL! I laced up and tried again and completed W5D3 with a little air to spare. Didn't clock as well with the pace, but hey, I was glad to be moving. I'm planning my next run tomorrow, and will be aiming for 25 minutes. A little apprehensive(and slightly unmotivated), but also excited! I'm in need of some major bum kicking to make sure I'm kept accountable

    Beginner pains

So found out my brooks are the wrong kind shoe I need lol my ankle is feeling way better but it seemed like my knees got worse just doing Dailey activities like work and chores now they hurt all the time not just running I bought some inserts from a running store and decided to just use them in my shoes I have to get better and just start walking about 5 miles at a time to start out, and try some leg excersises at the gym. Once I get my legs built up I'll go spend 120 bucks on some awesome shoes this running store had me try on. It was like night and day, if the colors weren't so crazy I'd try for two pairs to have a pair to work in.

  3. Completed W7D3, run 40 min to get to 3.1 miles (aka 5k!). The speed was only 4.7. My goal is 5.5 mph in two weeks. Bad news 1. Am still 55 and my BMI is 32.2 2. My treadmill has broken last Wednesday in the middle of the run. I completed the run inside the house. One ficus is dead.
