  1. Hi, my sister-in-law is a runner and I asked her what to do when I am not running. She said just do something, walk around the block, workout video, bike ride.... That has helped me to feel even better and not stop my training.

  4. Hi Alex, For a treadmill, the incline should be set at 2-3%. As far as skipping ahead, you surely can do this if you are able to, but sticking to the program will help to insure you have built up a base level of fitness in a progressive manner. It also wil help to prevent injury since running is a repetitive sport. The extra time will let your body adapt. The speed portion is something that you'll need find your way into. If you can carry on a conversation while running, you probably have the speed just right. Rob

    Run 3 days a week?

    Hello, I was wondering how most people do the training. I am on my first week and I see there are 3 workout per week. I had planned on training every other day but that would mean starting week 2 before a full calendar week had past. Do most people just start a new week or take 2 days off. Thanks for the help.

    I'm overweight..and 54..and havent run in 15 years. I started Week 4, day one today. I keep it at 3.5 for the walk and 4.5-7 for the run
