  1. I did day 1 today. I am embarrassed to admit how overweight I am, so I am starting out on turtle mode, walk and walk faster. I will just keep walking faster and faster until one day I am running. I need to get my weight down to ease the arch problems I am wearing these fancy inserts for now. I am not discouraged to be off to a slow start, I still managed to get 15,000 steps in on my pedometer today with my slow version of c25k!

    Hey all! My name is Jenny. This is my second time trying to complete this. I just started again today since I'm on my winter break from school. I'm hoping to lose weight and complete a 5K next year. I hope I can stay motivated!

  4. I quit last October 30th, so about 14 months ago. I'm always looking for excuses...anything other than, hey! You're 44 and out of shape lol!!

  5. I'm in the middle of the 0 to 10K. I am about to start the week where the app says to jog 3/4 mile or 8 minutes and progress from there. I run slower than that. So do I run for the time or the miles?

  6. First time posting but wanted to drop in and introduce myself. Glad to be here! 42, about 70 lbs overweight, no exercise in years and oodles of excuses. Started making small changes in my food choices over the summer. Started tracking calories about 8 weeks ago. One night I was sitting on the couch and my belly fat was actually hurting my abdomen. Hurting! For the first time I got mad at the fat and not myself (which would make me depressed and then overeat some more). Found this app the next day and SO VERY PROUD to say I completed week 5 day 3 yesterday. I actually cried. I can't believe that I went from struggling with 60 seconds to running for 20 minutes!!! I've actually LOST weight for the first time in over 15 years. Best. App. Ever.! !!

    You did super - just keep moving; as long as you are moving you are helping your body. Repeating or walking through parts is totally cool. Making this commitment to yourself is the best gift you can give yourself.
