Fueling for morning runs

I want to start doing some of my runs in the morning but always find it hard to get up early enough to eat something light/fueling (like an apple), drink some water, digest, run, and shower all before work. But I feel that not eating:hydrating I won't be able to run well, and not waiting long enough to digest will give me cramps as well. What do you suggest? How do you handle morning runs?

Out of bed into running gear and go. Nothing in the tank, though I've never been able to eat as soon as I get up. I typically don't eat until I'm up a couple hours. Unconventional I know, but it works for me. I did notice I need to increase my fluids significantly.
