I want to start doing some of my runs in the morning but always find it hard to get up early enough to eat something light/fueling (like an apple), drink some water, digest, run, and shower all before work. But I feel that not eating:hydrating I won't be able to run well, and not waiting long enough to digest will give me cramps as well. What do you suggest? How do you handle morning runs?
I also have trouble with this, and part of it is feeling hungry in the morning or feeling like I need to eat something and hydrate for fuel before running which means waking up even earlier to digest and pee before going. What do people suggest to help this? What do you usually eat/drink, if anything, before a morning run and how long do you wait between eating and running?
