Maddy83
I couldn't jog 20mins straight. I reached 9mins then need a 1min walk, then 6mins jog, 30sec walk, 2.5mins jog, 30sec walk, 2.5mins jog. 20mins straight was just too much for me. How is everyone doing with week 5 day 3? JeanneD1
I was only able to run 12 minutes. I am not sure how much was in my head vs just not being able to do it!
Rob129
It's in your head - just repeat and refocus. You might need to watch your pace a bit. If it feels like you can't run any more, slow down to a walk for 10 seconds; for me that has helped in not feeling so over whelmed

Maddy83
JeanneD1 my first attempt I had to have mini breaks of 1min and 30sec. It's 80% mental and 20% physical. Plus a good playlist helps! Go for it and try and try again. You're still lapping those on the couch.
burnsie
Just complete W5D2 this morning. Will attempt W5D3 for the first time on Tuesday, If I am unable to run the entire 20 minutes, is it standard practice to redo that day until you can? Thanks! blayne
Yeah that 20 minute run is tough. I'm stuck at that time.

I completed the C25k about two years ago. FWIW, I found that running first thing in the morning (before any food is on the stomach) was much easier.
