Nash527
and 16 years old. I have lost about 11 pounds on and off for about a month now, and my main struggles are not overeating and getting motivated. I am trying to overcome this, but I unfortunately was not raised to be aware of this stuff, so it is an uphill battle every day, recently things have been going better, but the holidays are upon us. I also have lost to get to 260 and regained to 285 before. My biggest fear is that after I lose weight, that I will be covered in loose skin. Does anyone know about that? Anne Lang
Nash The only thing i know about loose skin is that it is very expensive to fix. I wouldnt worry about that now. you are young enough and will have plenty of time to raise money for that after you get trimmed down and healthy. Go slow with running and with life style changes.swap out small bad habbits for good healthy ones a little at a time. I hope you are doing this with a drs help or that you can afford a nutritionists help. Welcome to running. Cant wait to read how your first run goes. Just go slow the jogg part is supposed to be slower than the walk part.
Azatol
I was 326 pounds and lost 120. There was definitely a lot of loose skin but over time it has shrunk away considerably. I suspect wiuth you being less than half my age your younger skin with higher elasticity will heal up in time but consider this... If you're going to have a pouch of skin, would you rather it be full or empty? Consider it a battle scar that in time, will go away!! It's worth it!! BTW I'm about 207 today(OMG loss down to 119 LOL)l bucgirl00
Ruthie
Even if you weren't raised with awareness -u are obviously developing awareness now which is wonderful. Stick with it,think about what your food is giving (or taking from)you and learn as much as you can about healthy nutrition and you will be fine.
