Newbie & Just completed day1 week1

Hi Shalda and Welcome here,

 

So happy you joined us. Feels great to have completed it huh??? Awesome day!!

 

The app says 3 days a week to run. I like 3-4 days and I will repeat the 3rd day in the app.

 

Other days, i will crossfit, hike, bike, weight training is my favorite. Keep your body guessing and you will get stronger.

 

Keep ot up and post so we can all encourage each other. Good luck!!!!!

Shalda, welcome! When you first start out, run 3 days a week (try to spread them out, if you can, to give your muscles time to rebuild).

 

You may increase the frequency once your body starts getting used to running. As KellyAnn mentioned, you can also add in weight-lifting or other types of exercise to strengthen your muscles in other ways (helps prevent injury).

 

Remember to take at least one rest day a week.
