first time since starting just couldn't finish. The last 5 min segment running was horrible - ran out of juice, sore legs, breathing all out of whack. So disappointed as had been travelling quite nicely. Gonna wait 2 days and repeat early Saturday morning. Don't know what went wrong today. :(

Hey Rob - repeated wk4 day 2 today YAY finished. I slowed the last 5 min run section right down but finished. Only error of judgement today was being Sunday my only day off work I slept in and ran mid-morning - NEVER AGAIN oh my god the bloody flies! I was swatting and swerving I think I swallowed one ! Onwards to day 3 Tuesday morning (early!). Thanks for asking how I'm going also.

Hey Shanaf, having to repeat that session was a bummer but since then all smooth. Just finished week 5 day 1 no hassles - thought the 3 x 5min blocks would fail me. Not keen on the 8 min blocks next! I did give myself 2 rest days after failing in week 4 and repeating so maybe you could try that? It really does seem to get easier in the slow increments - someone said to me it's building endurance so just go slower - that helps too. Good luck on your repeat session !!

Shanaf, just wanted to let you know that slowing down does not mean you failed. Slowing down (no matter how slow) and finishing the interval is the goal right now. Like Natcatvet said, try slowing your pace. I find focusing on breathing in through nose and exhaling forcefully through my mouth takes up all the brain power--no room for doubt, or looking at the time, or what that other person is thinking. When I work on my breathing and landing my foot properly, well, that's all I CAN do until I hear the announcer.
