  1. Go Liev! Congratulations on your progress!! I too have challenges with speed, and everyone says speed will come. Here's to us becoming runners!
  2. With the upgraded version you just have to tap the large dial on the home.
  3. Did you tap the large display dial on the homepage? That's where it will show up. Good luck!
  4. W13D1 was a jump to 25 minute run, walk one minute, then jog another 25 minutes. Again, I ran the duration, but my distance fell short. I came in at 4.5 miles. I'm getting discouraged with my pace. Will speed ever come?
  5. I bought the pro version to eliminate the popups and it was well worth it! It was a buck or two as I recall.
  6. W13D1 today. Still not getting the distance but running the prescribed time.
  7. You can upgrade, but it doesn't tell you your pace. I use MapMyRun and Runkeeper. Both use GPS.
  8. I don't know if it's because I paid for the pro version but I have distance and calories when I tap the large dial on the main screen. I have found the distance isn't as accurate as MapMyRun or Runkeeper because those apps use GPS and c210k does not.
  9. I went directly from the 5k to the 10k app. I am able to do the exercise, but my distance has been a little behind pace at 4.5 miles. Everyone says speed comes...I'm banking on that!
  10. Through the settings menu I had to set the volume all the way up. She comes through my bluetooth headphones at the perfect level. I did have to adjust my media volume slightly higher as well.
  11. I should have started W13d1 today, but instead I did a shower run. I went back to W8D3. My intention was to focus on my speed. While I was faster I'm still not running a 30 minute 5k. My endurance is good but speed was slow. I keep reading speed will come, but when?
  12. One day at a time makes the difference. It's largely mental. You got this!!
  13. W12D3 completed though slower than normal. I blew my healthy eating regimen this weekend, and it definitely showed in my run!
  14. Starting is the hardest part and you've done that. Kudos to you!
  15. What worked for me was to keep progressing with the program. I only repeated when I was unable to fully perform the prescribed routine.
  16. W12D2 is in my rearview mirror but it should be my day 3. Run over the weekend or wait until monday?
  17. W12D1 done! Was worried because I've been sick and missed my run on Monday. I was a bit slow today, but got through it just fine. I can't believe how much I'm enjoying this!
  18. I should have completed W12D1 today but I'm sick. It's my first miss since starting on this journey back in July. I'm feeling badly. Am I whimping out or was resting the right answer?
  19. Don't over think it. I would give it a try, you might surprise yourself. If you aren't able to complete it, try it again. You've got nothing to lose. For what it's worth, I had the same thoughts when approaching that day, and I went for it. Blew my mind when I completed it.
  20. Skipping a day between runs is key. It gives your body time to heal and rebuild. Pushing it just risks injury. Give it a try next week and see how it goes.
  21. I play music using Slacker Radio on my android. C25k automatically lowers the volume of the music when she speaks, then increases the volume when she's finished with her command. I launch Slacker immediate following C25k. In addition to those two apps, I also run MapMyRun and Runkeeper apps with c25k. They do a better job with distance record keeping and comparing each run. They also lower my Slacker Radio when they speak.
  22. M W F for me. You risk injury doing too much. Trust the program, it works! The recovery is as important as the exercise. I'm beginning W12D1 of the 10k app on Monday and I've NEVER been able to run, yet here I am!
