  1. Just finished week 5 day 2. It has been going great. It had me run 3/4 mile and walk 1/2 did that twice. It was a hard workout. Took a look at my next day and it wasn't a me to run 2 miles without walking. That seems like a huge difference. I struggled with the 3/4 without stopping. Can someone help me out this doesn't seem right.

  2. After thinking of doing something about my health and weight, I have finally pushed myself to actually start!! Today was a 1st for a couple of this. 1. Starting this program. I am on Week 1 Day 1. And the work out felt great! I can't not wait to do day 2! The second step I made today was day 1 of no pop!! Pop is my biggest downfall! It's going to be tough but I know I can do it. Usually I have a can of pepsi every night before bed. Now I have replaced that pepsi with my new work out plan! :-) Here is to hoping I push through the tough days when I do not want to do the work out. I know I can push myself to do it.

    Is sixty too late?

I started with C25K last January, on my 59th birthday. I'll be running a 10 K this January on my 60th birthday. My only goal is to finish the race! Running has made me stronger in every imaginable way.

    Weight loss?

Look how many calories are in your favourite naughty snacks. Then work out how far you'd need to run to work off the same number of calories. It suddenly doesn't seem so appealing anymore!
