  1. I am still alive - just in case anyone missed me ... LOL Computer will be gone for one more week, (I suck at texting responses from kindle, so I am waiting for my computer) and then I'll be back regularly to check in/update, AND check up on your YOUR updates - can't wait!! I've missed reading and being inspired/motivated from updates, and contributing/responding as well! Hoping all are doing wonderfully well! CHEERS!!

  2. w5d2 done calves muscle very tender need to rethink how I am warming up. The muscle was already aching from yesterday's walk as I was working on my stride and breathing for today's workout. I gave my calves a good massage last night and again before I started my workout it did help but towards the end I felt it tightening up and needed to nurse it to complete the session. Just finished massaging the calves and feeling much better

    Heart Rate Monitor ?

    I was recently researching the same topic and after reading numerous websites, tests the conclusion was that if you want accurate numbers you need a chest strap. You can use other tech but then don't base your work out on those numbers as they can be quite a lot off. I decided for a wahoo tickr x, if anyone is wondering, not very cheap but I liked the feature sets and I will use it with strava.
