    I wanna be a runner!

    I am a stay at home mom who's recently been trying to lose weight and get into better shape overall. I started walking, slowly including jogging, and would love all the tips, advice, support, and guidance I can get. Thanks!

    Hi Cait, Welcome on here. We are all here for you, cheering you on. Have you downloaded the C25k app? That is where you want to begin. I am on Week 4, Day1 tomorrow on the 10k app. I love it. So, my advice to you is, workout how you want to , if you walk, fine, run, fine, we are all different. Get great shoes, there is a topic on the General Chat forum. etc.. Nosy around and read tips. Good luck and I started an Accountability group if you would like to check in. Also, there are a few of us on MyFitnessPal too, where we help there too. Good Luck!

  4. I'm a beginning runner. Wasn't really sure what to try, so went to a local running store, Fleet Feet, where they recommended Brooks Adrenaline after watching me run. My first two pair I bought from the store but I've recently found an excellent deal on the Brooks website so bought the most recent pair from there.
