Guest Chase
I am 16 and use to be really athletic! Then I had things in my life that set me back, now I am a bit over weight and not happy with myself! I am trying to get in shape and hope this app will help me. I am worried about running where people can see me. I'm a little embarrassed... It seems I can barely run for a minute anymore when I use to be a great soccer player and run all the time... Any advice??
KellyAnn
Hi Chase, Good for you for being so young and wanting to change your health. Proud of you! These apps are great. There are also other ones for lunges, situps, pushups , etc..... You can do it. DO NOT EVER be embarrassed, EVER... You are LAPPING anyone that is not moving.. Is there an indoor track where you live? You might try that... Super Duper proud of you by the way... Make good choices with food, and one foot in front of the other.. We are here for you, Please keep us posted.....
Guest Ana
Hey, it's important that you feel OK with your body. I mean, it does amazing things like breathing and all the stuff that keeps us alive, right. It deserves your respect in the first place!! I am in the same situation as you, but I am veeeeery overweight and my active years were, like, so long ago fortunately I live in a very safe area with a forest, so I go there when I feel a little ashamed or uncomfortable with other people around. Though if you live in a relatively big city, I guarantee that no stranger will look at you twice, let alone remember you. We people are very busy with ourselves. Get some nice music and go have fun!!!!!
Caz
Hi chase, try not to worry about what other people think, they genuinely don't care as much as we think they do. I used to be the same thpugh, I ran early mornings and quiet times because I didn't want comments as I started to run at more busy times I did get comments, how far are you going? How far have you come? Are you training for something? And most commonly 'good on you' sometimes with 'I should run more' Also take up soccer again, you don't even notice you're running so much :-) good luck, I wish you all the best. Guest Guest
I have to agree with Chase. I am extremely out of shape but have started walking again after years of no exercise whatsoever. I think this is a good beginning but am curious what else a 37 year old woman can do to also help with the walking.

Guest John
Kelley more water and a better diet? I'm going to be trying myfitnesspal for diet and exercise tracking. It has a good list of food available in Canada and the c2k app will add your exercise data if you share messages with myfitnesspal. Only thing I don't like about it so far is no custom time for start time for next days log, but I hope nightshift.

OneFitHoneyBadger
Well, looks like none of us are alone. I gained 35lbs after a major life change/move & really need to take my life back. I've had excuses for too long & have seen zero results so now it's time to take control & responsibility. Quit smoking 4 days ago, on w1d2. Looking forward to being the best me that can be... for myself & for my six children & my partner. Here's to 2015 & crushing out excuses & getting out of our own way to take hold of the life we were meant to live! Xoxo
