Rob129
Run/ walking is a key part of my program to stay fit. The other key part is diet. I have lost nearly 20 lbs since starting this (2.5 months ago) and I can run 10 km (6.2 miles). So I say it works. You have to make time in your schedule for this because it is so important; and you need running shoes that fit.
psgriffus
I'm starting tonight when I get out of work. Nervous. I e made a plan before but didn't stick to it But fed up, clothes don't fit, tired. I've gained 30 pounds in the last year and ready to take control, get running, hopefully sign up for a 5k at some point and turn into a "runner" lol. Others are very inspirational with their stories! psgriffus
Speedingsloth
Good on you for making the decision to start! I agree with Rob that this program works, I couldn't run 30 meters without feeling like passing out when I started about 2 months ago ◡̈ Keep us posted! psgriffus
MoveMe
I can relate to this topic. I am 50 + pounds overweight. I decided two weeks ago by reading about an upcoming 5K in February that I was going to "do it". Just like that I made my mind up. I searched for an app and this one was right up my alley as I had been permanently stuck to the couch. I just completed W2 today and words cannot describe how excited I am. One foot in front of the other at your own pace not any one else's. Good luck to you my friend!
