Guest Alex
I started W1D1 today. It wasn't bad, I'm not sore. I feel great, however I couldn't finish most of the running segments because I was SICK, I was sure if I didn't stop running I'd throw up. So I ran til my stomach hurt unbearably and walked the rest. I'm not that big, 135 at 4'11", but I felt like the people on biggest loser. I feel like a failure, I want to repeat my failed days on what would be my "off" days, so that I can stay on track, is that a bad idea, is puking normal? Guest Cookie816
Congrats on pushing through and finishing your workout! I can't see what I'm typing so excuse any typos. I Would rest a day and get back on that horse. Vomiting happens on occasion, especially if you're pushing your body like that. Hope this helps. Guest Guest
Hey Alex, Don't worry about that at all. I don't understand. You were sick, like Illl or sick because you were runnuing, which I think is what you are saying. Just go slow, you don't have to run in the beginning I didn't. Repeat when you are ready. Work on your core strength for a few days. When you do the app, walk fast and build up for a few days. That should help. Keep me posted. ForeverStrong
Alex I started and I could barely finish three of the running portions but over time I got better. I even started over just so that I could finish them and run them completely. I never got the feeling of puking but I always got the feeling is my nose was going to start bleeding Keep the Faith girl you can do this sdbeachgirl
farmgirl
Alex don't give up! Be sure to rest though, sometimes doing too much is what will make you sick. And it's ok if you didn't get through all of the runs at first, you will! Just keep at it and over time your body will grow stronger as your stamina increases. Not everyone goes at the same pace... don't be afraid to repeat weeks or whatever you have to do, but don't give up sdbeachgirl
KellyAnn
Hey there. How did you do today if you worked out? Walk/run if you have too until you build up your strength. Farmgirl hit it on the head. Good luck and we are all rooting for you.
sdbeachgirl
Puke happens. Embrace it hee hee (okay maybe don't take it that far). but seriously, I've felt like puking in workouts occasionally; typically it's just your body working in overdrive, and it's normal as long as it's occasional...but if you do it every time, you might consider slowing down...a lot. Over training is definitely not good for you. And if it's consistent, check with your doc to make sure something else might not be going on. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Make sure you're hydrating enough throughout the day also. Safe running to ya!
