  1. Increase your reps when lifting to tone down your arms.
  2. What he said. You can do it every other day. I normally squat every other day, though I don't increase the weight that much. I'd add up a few pounds the following week. That worked for me.
  3. Alternate running and strength training, that's what I do
  4. Hello, and welcome. Glad to hear you are doing very well now, and venturing out to a healthier lifestyle! Of course, you may do your training on your treadmill! Wherever you feel comfortable - running is still running regardless!
  5. My dad had stage 4 liver cancer, and he was advised to stay away from all sorts of meat, red and white included. His diet was mostly vegetables and lots of fruits. Vit C is also crucial as people with cancer tend to have weakened immune system. That's all I remember, though. I wish I could give you more insights. Also, soursop (a fruit) is a well known anti-cancer food. Your step mom might want to give it a try. I hope she gets better soon.
  6. Give it time. The last thing you want to happen is to worsen things. I say rest it for now.
  7. I don't think anyone is too old to start doing anything, may it be a new hobby or a fitness journey. Best of luck with your goals!
  8. Hey there. I just signed up and I'm still quite new here but been reading on some topics before I've finally decided to sign up and join. Hehe. Well.. a bit about me, I'm in my mid 20's and have been working out for quite a while now. I really like getting active and hiking is among my favorite outdoor activities. So yeah. I also lift and regularly hit the gym. That's all for now. Thanks for reading this!
